Christmas Home Tour - Part 1

Happy Tuesday, friends!  Today I'm giving you a little tour of our house decked out for Christmas and in true Andrea fashion I'm having a hard time cutting out pics so I'm sharing them all and making it two posts. hahaha

this tree is in our living room and is our "family tree".  I LOVE a good "pretty tree" but love the mismatch family ornament trees the most.

The tree is full of homemade, photo and memory ornaments...

... occasions, special events, travel and just every day memories.

We got a new tree this year and I couldn't love it more.  I really wanted a tree that showcased the ornaments and let them hang "away" from the tree.

The shelf holds a few of our favorite nativities...

... one that was a wedding gift...

... and one made out of steel drums.

Garlands up on the stairs...

...And another in the dining room.

A nativity on the table...

... and then this year I decided to get all of my fun Christmas dishes and mugs and stuff out of the cupboards and onto this shelf to enjoy.

It makes me smile every day and we've been using the pieces way more than I would have otherwise.

I still keep a stack of holiday dessert plates out in the kitchen...

... and then a few more dishes in the glass-front cabinet.

My mom collected the pieces for this mouse nativity while we were growing up and she gave it to me a few years ago and it's my absolute favorite.

This year I put it in this little glass cake stand and I love it!

I actually switched out the little tree for a plant in  this gorgeous planter this weekend ;)

In the family room we upgraded our super skinny tree with this one and I added my collection of "neutral" ornaments I've been collecting over the years and OH MY WORD I'm in love!!!

The tree is SO PRETTY (and was a great price) but I did have to add my own lights which was kind of a pain but also worth it ;)

Most of the ornaments came from Birds and Words (a local boutique as well as Anthropologie)

My FAVORITE nativity is out on the console table...

... Dave got it for me last Christmas and I've been so excited to get it out again!

I did a garland on the TV stand...

... and coordinated the ornaments with the ones on the tree in this room.

And the mantel has the same kind of vibe...

These stockings are purely decorative... we still have our giant pottery barn ones that Santa fills ;)

I bought the glass glitter letters at Pottery Barn probably 10+ years ago and I LOVE how they've gotten more of a patina over the years.

And I've already shared more pics than I should have so I'll save the rest (office and upstairs) for tomorrow! I hope you enjoyed the peek around!

HAPPY Tuesday, friends!!!
