Weekend Recap

A cold front blew in this Friday and Saturday morning was FREEZING!!!  A highlight for me was getting to break out this darling coat I rented from Nuuly.  Isn't it precious?!?!

The boys and Dave hung out with some friends to watch the TCU-UT game and Griffin and I decided to head to the square to sneak in a little shopping and some dinner.

We hadn't been down there since some of the Christmas decorations have gone up and with the cooler temps, twinkle lights and leaves on the ground it was for sure giving Stars Hollow vibes ;)

We both LOVE poking around and seeing what we can see and had to hit up a couple of our very favorite antique spots...

We're pulling out Christmas decorations next weekend and she's decided that she wants to start collecting vintage ornaments for her bedroom tree (the sweetest!) and so we were on the hunt for a couple of special ones.

After shopping we headed to The Yard to share some chicken tenders and smothered waffle fries.  Amen.

SUCH a fun time with her!

Griffin has a project she's been working on for school and she tried to wrap as much of it up this weekend as possible.  She's been working so hard and I think it's going to be so cute!

Saturday morning selfie before dance rehearsals - their Christmas show is coming together and she's getting so excited!

This is how girls night ended ;).

We played a lot of games this weekend....

... had a visit with Santa...

... and said goodbye to Dave's grandma, Minnie Fae Griffin.

She passed away last week and yesterday we celebrated her life and her legacy and it was a gorgeous day to do so.

Dave and I hadn't been to this little chapel since a chili cookoff and quilt auction probably 25 years ago.  Bittersweet for sure.

HAPPY Monday, friends!!!
