Today I'm linking up with Shay and Sheaffer to talk a little bit about what's been going on around here!
After being in a bit of a cooking slump after getting back from our trip and then being sick I've been trying to step up my game a bit ;) It's been not 100 degrees yesterday so I'm whippin up a family favorite (Swedish meatballs) and am SO GLAD because it's one of my absolute favorite meals of all time.
Y'all KNEW this was coming ;) With the July 4th parade just around the corner I'm absolutely reminiscing about one of the things that makes my heart the happiest - kiddos decked out in red, white and blue waving flags and watching a parade. BE STILL MY HEART!
ALLLL the regular things but I also feel like my summer countdown clock is ticking and I'm trying to do #allthethings and make all the appointments before we head back to school. One of those checklist items was annual orthodontic evaluations....
... and this kid aged at least a year in a little under an hour ;) Excited to see his smile in about a year and a half!
Just the never-ending heat - this summer has been EXCEPTIONALLY hot and while I'm crossing my fingers it'll be followed by an extra cool Fall I'm really dreading the next couple of months of grossness.
An upgraded enclosure for Chips and Queso! I'll share updates when I figure out exactly where it's going and the kids and I get it all set up but LOOK HOW CUTE!
This is more Griffin than me but she bought this rubber band craft kit thing and she LOVES IT!!! I love that everything is contained in a caboodle meets tackle box ;)
I have a book recap coming up next week sharing what I've read lately but I'm currently reading Our Little World and I'm loving it!
I'm watching Gilmore Girls AGAIN because would it even be summer if I wasn't???
Flowy dresses forever!!!
Basketball game, friend time and prepping a bit for July 4th! I can't believe it's already time!
I'm FOR SURE making this strawberry crisp...
COLORADO!!! We're making a break for the mountains and I CAN'T WAIT!!!
Not anything in my school inbox ;) hahaha
HAPPY Wednesday, friends!
PS - this post contained affiliate links... thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog!
Us coastal grandmothers have to stick together...how lovely was yesterday?! I thought of you all day long! xx
ReplyDeleteWondering if your strawberry crisp would work with peaches. I just got my Georgia peaches. I made it as you directed and it was gone in 5 minutes.;)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I've never heard of that book, but it looks really good! Those braces did age Luke! And that teacher meme is on point. ;)
