North Pole Breakfast 2021

Buddy the Elf returned this past weekend and brought his annual North Pole Breakfast.   This was our TENTH breakfast and they just keep getting sweeter :)

Buddy has been mixing things up yearly and this year found inspiration in these little ornaments that I found last year as well as  this Merry pennant

The wrapping paper used as a runner and to wrap the gifts is Hobby Lobby...

... as is the glitter scrapbook paper used as a placemat.  The napkins you can find  HERE and the crackers (that's what we always called these growing up) were a Homegoods find.  I played off the sparkle antlers and LOVED how it looked.

These are the little ornaments that I stuck into the garland...

... and I used a combo of trees I already had with the new sparkly green trees from Hobby Lobby.

I'd been hunting for the cupcake toppers for EVER and a precious instagram friend had them in her stash and mailed them to me!  HOW SWEET IS THAT?!?!?!

Buddy leaves each of the kids a pair of PJs and this year the boys each got Champion sweats (because let's be honest, they'd much rather have these than pjs) and Griffin got this sweet little set from Sweethoney.  It was pure luck that they matched the theme since I ordered these during their Christmas in July preorder.

The frosted/sparkly trees are my FAVORITE!

The menu was simple... donuts (tradition!), strawberries, blueberries and breakfast casserole.  As my kids have gotten older just donuts don't cut it anymore ;) hahaha

First order of business - reading the note.

... followed by popping the Christmas crackers.

If you've followed along here for a while you'll know we LOVE US a Christmas cracker :) I grew up wearing these paper crowns at pretty much every holiday dinner and love the nostalgia so much!

Each of the kids got an advent calendar... Griffin's is a charm bracelet calendar that I actually bought in Boston when I was there on a girls trip 2 years ago.  I felt like she was too young for it but couldn't resist it because it was so sweet and this year it was PERFECT!

Luke got one full of unique candy...

... and Mason's is magic tricks and experiments.

They also each get an ornament that signifies something they did this year like volleyball...

... robotics...

... and saving up all your money for a RC monster truck :)

We ate, checked everything out, opened the first few days of the advent calendars and had just the sweetest morning.

HAPPY Tuesday, friends!!!
