Christmas Craft Ideas

Christmas break officially starts TOMORROW at noon for us and I'm so excited to slow things down a bit and get to spend a bunch of time together as a family.  Now that my kids are older and much more self-sufficient the days aren't nearly as long as they were when they were toddlers - so today, in case you're trying to figure out how you're going to fill your days this coming week, I'm sharing a few fun (and easy) craft ideas that you can prep now and have on hand for when kids are home.

Last year I created these nativity printables that you can download  HERE for free!  Cut them out and hang them as ornaments, add magnets to the back and create a set for your fridge, blow them up and make coloring pages, etc.

A few years ago we did  this paper plate nativity which couldn't have been easier and made a really cute finished product.

Another one of my most favorite crafts of all time was when the kids "elfed themselves" ;)

I MEAN! Can you even handle the cuteness???

Last week I shared  these ornaments which would make super easy coloring pages...

... and my Christmas doodle town pages can be found  HERE.

We made  these framed art projects last Spring but they would be PERFECT to use up those extra boxes piling up.  Your kids could make grandparent gifts by create frames to frame art they just brought home from school, make small frames and art and use them as gift tags, or you could bookmark this as an after-Christmas project and they could get a head starts on little Valentine's gifts for family members.

Happy (almost) Christmas break, friends!!!

  1. I love the ornaments. I teach 2nd grade and changed all your numbers to times on a clock. We reviewed telling time and then they colored their ornament. For sure a favorite and made my room so festive. Thanks for all your printables.
