Happy Tuesday, friends! I originally had planned on putting this post up yesterday morning but Sunday night hit HARD and I just didn't have it in me :) hahaha
We kicked off the weekend by having a cousin hangout on Friday night. We painted pumpkins, decorated cookies, met the turtles, read books hung out.
Saturday we had volleyball, ran errands and cleaned the house. We ended the night watching Halloween movies and carving pumpkins.
The boys did theirs completely solo this year which was so awesome.
This memory popped up on my FB which is never not funny :)
FINALLY it was Sunday :) and we spent the day getting ready for having friends over that night.
This was the extent of my dressing up...
but the kids brought their a-games :)
This year were my favorite costumes EVER! Griffin was a ringmaster/lion tamer :) She was SO EXCITED about this costume and we had a blast making her "fire hoop". Rosie's mane was icing on the cake ;)
Rosie in this mane will never get old - the funniest part was that she left it on!
Mason's costume is my FAVORITE! It's so "him" and was hilarious!
Luke insisted that he was "just going to wear his costume from last year" but when he went to put it on there was NO WAY it would fit so he improvised with this Top Gun jacket from decades night at Family Camp a few years ago. HE LOOKED PERFECT!
We had friends come over before trick-or-treating for pizza and snacks and I put together this fun little tray...
... and prepped the tray for post-trick-or-treating s'mores (no chocolate because we used Halloween candy) :)
A few of Luke's friends before they headed out to do their own thing...
... and a couple of Masons.
BESTIES!!!
Our lion tagged along...
And we had the best time walking the neighborhood...
BEST NIGHT EVER!
We headed back home to check out their hauls and have a few more snacks...
... and when Luke and his crew got back we moved the party outside for Halloween candy smores and the Cowboys game.
It was such a great weekend and I CAN'T BELIEVE that it's November! What in the world?!?!
HAPPY Tuesday, friends!!!
Oh my gosh, Rosie! I die! That is the most precious thing EVER!!! (Also, at that pic at the table, your dad looks like he's living his best life :) .)
