Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!!   Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us!!!!  If you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or both!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

First up is my new FAVORITE salad - thrilling, I know.  It's essentially the Greek salad from Salata minus the olives and banana peppers but with pasta added and it is SO GOOD!!!

This made me laugh SO HARD!!!  You know you teach middle school when...

My FAVORITE little volleyball player had her end-of-the-season party after school this week and LOOK HOW SWEET!!!

These boys have been golfing after school ;)

and Mason's FAVORITE day was when he got to go to the Institute for Creation Research with his class.

If you haven't been it's INCREDIBLE and well worth the trip!

Short and sweet this week because it's been CRAZY BUSY but I wanted to share a few of my FAVORITES from Sephora since they're running a sale.

I LOVE  this shower gel SO MUCH!  It smells amazing and a little goes a long way.

This is also the perfect time to grab  the XL tub of bum bum cream - it's my favorite scent EVER!

I also stock up on moroccanoil when Sephora does this sale - I use  the restorative hair mask every few washes...

... I use  this perfect defense spray when I blow dry...

... and do two pumps of  this in my hair after every wash.

I bought  this exfoliating bar last year and I look forward to the days that I use it.  My face never feels cleaner and it's just so good!

I'm ordering  this cleansing bar this time because I love the exfoliating bar so much and can't wait to use it.

Last, but not least -  this lip mask seems like a splurge but it lasts FOREVER and my lips have never been better!

I hope y'all have had a GREAT week and have a wonderful weekend!  HAPPY Friday, friends!

  1. Good morning! Have to ask after seeing your second to last favorite...MCA doesn't teach evolution?

    1. Hi, I follow Momfessionals blog and am older, just had my first grandbaby! I live in Overland Park, KS. Andrea teaches at MCA which is a Christian school. In their statement of Philosophy, they state that they teach a Biblical worldview, and that the Bible is the infallible word of God. The Bible clearly states that God created the world, He created Man and woman, and He alone is sovereign over all. My children attended Christian schools and universities as we desired them to be raised in the Christian faith. Those who follow scripture believe in God's creation, though people find that hard to understand. I am thankful for schools like MCA that stand on God's word, and don't twist it.

  2. Along the same lines as the comment above…..looked up the field trip spot and it’s says it teaches against evolution. I have the same question. No evolution? Or at least teaching evolution as one possible theory?

  3. Cute! Love that the kids are having fun and learning! Not really anybody else's business to comment on WHAT they are learning. People like the two above are going to force Andrea to stop sharing all the fun things she does with her kids. Personally I think all the crafts, activities, sports, church activities, birthday parties, board games, outside playing, inside creative playing, the list goes on is nothing short of a miracle considering Andrea and Dave work full time. They are exposing their kids to SO MANY things and raising them to be good humans. People should not comment about the ONE museum they attended. People should not assume it means they are not exposing them to other thoughts and ideas. People should assume they are great parents and raising well rounded kids.

  4. I'm sorry but when did Griffin turn 13? I must have missed that. (Insert me sobbing.)
