Fall Touches

I said I wasn't going to do this because it's still 8000 degrees here on the surface of the sun and then the mood struck and the next thing I knew I was knee deep in pumpkins in the attic and I wasn't mad about it :) Last year I did a "neutral Fall" look and this year I decided to go FULL ON fall tones and I'm obsessed!

I started with 4 strands of faux foliage from Hobby Lobby (this is what I layered with my Christmas garlands last year) and then just added a bunch of velvet pumpkins I've collected over the years from Homegoods, Marshalls and (believe it or not) my local Market Street grocery store.

I use command hooks to keep the garland secure and then everything else is just laid/nestled on top.

The faux acorns are from Marshalls and  Kirklands last year.

For comparison, here's what the mantle looked like last year...

.... and now!

I added a rattan pumpkin to the bottom shelf of the console table, switched out a white saranoni blanket for a caramel colored one and added another little acorn.

In the kitchen I switched out some towels...

... added a few little touches..,

and I LOVE how this little tiered stand turned out.  I very clearly have a "thing "for green and any chance to add it in I'm going to take!

One mercury glass pumpkin in the dining room...

... and some BIG acorns on the bookcase in the living room.

And there you have it!  If we could I'd invite y'all all over for a piece of apple cake, a cup of tea and a Rosie snuggle :)

HAPPY Wednesday, friends!!!
