Almond Joy Cookies

 

I was planning on sharing this recipe next week but after my family DEVOURED them this weekend and can't stop talking about them I knewI needed to share ASAP :) These are DELISH!!!




What You'll Need...
2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter softened (2 stick)
2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips 
(I used 1 cup dark and 2 cups semi-sweet)
2 cup sweetened coconut flakes (shredded coconut)
1 1/2 cup sliced almonds

What You'll Do...
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In small bowl whisk to combine flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
Using mixer cream butter and sugars. Add vanilla and egg and mix just until incorporated. Slowly blend the dry mixture into the creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, coconut flakes and sliced almonds.
Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake for 9-12 minutes (I did 10).

  4. I have made these with 4 ingredients only: sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, coconut & almonds. It was good but A LOT of washing hands. They came out very good, but I am going to use this recipe next time!!!
