Kicking the week off by sharing a few things that made me smile this weekend. Some of my greatest joy comes from the small moments and I love having these posts to look back on :)
Like this girl thinking she was HOT STUFF waiting on the boys in the drivers seat ...
... some quiet moments to prep for the week...
... and catching these two reading together while eating bagels on Saturday morning.
Finally taking the plunge to try to rehab my formerly gorgeous. fiddle leaf fig...
... late night games of Rummikub...
... and these two sweet babies before church.
I love it when Luke "helps" Mason with building projects ;)
And watching these two do their version of "miss mary mac" made me smile REAL big.
This sweet girl wanting some scratches while I was trying to grade...
... getting COZY for a Sunday afternoon nap ;)
Praying that y'all have a wonderful start to your week - I'd love to hear something small that made you happy this weekend. Leave a comment and I'll send a few of y'all Starbucks cards to add a little extra happy to your Monday.
We were HAPPY to visit our farmer's market on it's last Saturday! Picked up some fall plants, delicious homemade baked treats, and ran in to some friends!!

ReplyDeleteToday is our 53rd wedding anniversary! We were married at the incredibly young ages of 20 & 21, on August 30, 1968.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter with that haircut is absolutely adorable. Some happies of mine were celebrating a belated birthday supper with my daughter and son in law. Also, taking a meal to a coworker and holding her precious little boy. Praying you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteThis past week was my first week of in person learning (I’m a school counselor in NC) and this weekend I really got to reflect on how resilient our children are. It’s their third year with some sort of covid and they came in smiling under their masks so excited to be back and see their friends. I’m just happy they get some sort of normal this year.
ReplyDeleteAnother positive is it looks like the temps may finally drop here 😂

ReplyDeleteSomething that made me happy this weekend was reflecting on my first week of in-person learning (I'm a school counselor in NC). This is our third year of some time of covid in the schools and our children are just so resilient. They have big smiles under their masks and were just so excited to be back despite the mandates.I just love seeing all the personalities and am so excited for this school year.
ReplyDeleteAnother plus is the NC temps finally dropping later this week lol

ReplyDeleteLove spreading joy like this! My mom; sister and I spent all day cooking everything we had in the refrigerator - vegetable bakes, risotto, a sponge cake - a bit of an eclectic meal but we spent all day together laughing and sharing stories, before inviting a few neighbors over to for dinner. It brought me so much joy. Oh, and it was cloudy and 65 degrees yesterday - fall is coming!
