Prayer

Hey, friends.  It's Tuesday night and my heart is heavy.
For our country.  For our military and their families. For the situation in Afghanistan.
For families affected by flooding and hurricane damage.
For a friend in desperate need of a medical miracle.
It's just heavy.

I'm spending the time I would have normally spent on this post in prayer and I'd like to invite you to spend the few minutes you'd normally spend reading my post in prayer as well.

If you feel led you can lift up Sandra by name - that her body would continue to FIGHT and that she would experience a miracle that could only point to you.  For her doctors and nurses and for her family.

"I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” - John 16:33

  2. The world is very heavy right now. Thanks for reminding us to go to the Father with our concerns.
Father God, be near to Sandra. We thank You for her life and the impact she has had on those who know her. You know her situation and we ask You for a miracle on her behalf. Heal her body and wrap her in your comfort. Please give her the courage and strength she needs right now. Be especially near to those who are close to her and are caring for her.
I add prayers for my son who is struggling with anxiety right now. Flood him with your supernatural peace. Please grant him the strength and courage he needs for each moment right now. I thank You for his life and the purpose You have created him for. Help him to believe that he has value when the darkness would have him think otherwise.
Be near, Lord, in Afghanistan, in the natural disasters, with those who have lost so much recently. Show us how to pray and to serve.
    In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  7. I am a Sandra lifting up Sandra. I pray that her body will fight and that those around her will be amazed at the miracle our Heavenly Father can give to her. Also lifting up all the burdens of this world. I know none of this came as a surprise to God - we just need to call on Him.
