What's Up Wednesday

Today I'm linking up with  Shay and  Sheaffer to talk a little bit about what's been going on around here!

I don't even understand why these are SO GOOD but they're SO GOOD!  My kids have had them before but then I bought a few bags for our road trip to Colorado and they quickly became a hot commodity in our house.  If you haven't tried them yet grab some on your next grocery fun and let me know what you think!

I can't stop thinking about this picture...

.... this was from G's Pre-K year and I remember feeling like I had hit this HUGE milestone because they were all in school together.  TIME FLIES, friends!

I shared our bedroom update yesterday and meant to share these acrylic drawer organizers that I used to organize our nightstands.  In my top drawer I used them to hold chapsticks, other face/hand creams, chargers and stuff, tissues and essential oils.

And then one of the larger ones in the middle drawer for pens :)  I had enough to also do Dave's drawers, some of my jewelry and then my office drawers as well.

It sounds weird to say but it's almost been too hot to swim ;) hahaha We've reached the bath water portion of the summer and have been swimming a lot at night and playing LOTS of games in the afternoons including a recent FAVORITE - Scrabble!

I'm excited to see my students and get back in a routine this coming month but I am DREADING the sleep situation.  It's no secret that I love sleeping in but this summer I've also really taken advantage and gotten some great naps in as well and I'm going to miss them so much!

Getting ready for school!  There's been a ton of construction and repairs from the ice storm going on up there this summer so I haven't been able to be in my classroom but I went up this week to start getting ready and I'm SO EXCITED!!!

If being excited about tupperware is wrong I don't want to be right!  I bought two of  these sets at Costco earlier this month and am embarrassingly excited about it!  I love that it's glass, I love that the lids snap sealed I just LOVE THEM!  (PS - the sets were $25/each at Costco so definitely look there first if you can!)

Olympics all day! The only problem is I can't stop crying! hahaha. I cry when the athletes cry, I cry when their parents get emotional, I cry when they play the anthem... who knew I had such a soft spot for this!

I just started  Touch and Go by Lisa Gardner and I was immediately drawn in!  I'll keep you posted as to what I think when it's done!

Absolutely nothing worth noting :) hahaha. I'm living that pj life as long as I possibly can and that's the truth!

Taking the kids to camp! I can't believe that it's already time!!!  The excitement here is OFF THE CHARTS!

I know that August is far from Fall but it does kind of signal all things "fallish" for me and I AM HERE FOR IT!!!  It also means my first batch of  mini apple spice cupcakes.  Amen.

Not a whole lot!

HAPPY Wednesday, friends!

  2. We got those Nerds clusters for our Tennessee road trip a few weeks ago and they were the snack of choice for the whole trip!

  3. I would also love a link for the drawer organizers. Also would you mind sharing the phone you got for Luke. I can’t find the post but we are going to take the plunge soon and that option seemed ideal. Thank you.

  5. Those Nerd Clusters are the DEVIL! So addicting! And I am not a real candy person.

  6. My first thought was Ew; but I don't like nerds and I can't stand anything gummy in texture so I know that's a "me" thing. Our lake and pools are actually quite chilly as we have had SO much rain otherwise it's usually feeling like bath water by now too. We have glass storage containers like those that we got from Amazon and we just LOVE them so much!!
