Weekend Top 10 - Easter Edition

Today I'm keeping things brief (not always my forte!) and sharing ten of my FAVORITE pictures from Easter.  We were so grateful to worship in-person, spend the day with family and HAVE DAVE AT HOME!  I mentioned this earlier but this was the first Easter in 19 years that he hasn't been working.  So much to be thankful for!

Dressed and ready for church and looking SO CUTE in their Easter colors.

That's a WHOLE lot of squinty eyes and a WHOLE LOT of boys :)  I can not even handle the cuteness level and I also can't help but think about what this picture will look like in 5 years when they're 18, 15, 13, 10, 8 and 6 (and 6). hahahaha

Hard to believe that this time last year this spot wasn't even on my parents radar and here we all were hunting eggs in the front yard this year!

We color-code the eggs and give each kid a color so that we can hide the older kids eggs in harder spots and vice versa.  It works well and makes for a pretty picture...

The oldest and the youngest :)

I know this is a bold statement but I feel like Easter food MAY beat Thanksgiving food.  I'm still pondering but I'm pretty confident in that statement so far.

Bennett agrees with me :)

Uncle Dave is EVERYONE'S favorite (mine too!)

Mason made this little sign and picked out this plant for my mom...

Easter baskets before church...

... 2/3 have actual baskets because I forgot one broke two years ago :) hahaha  Those sweet little closed eyes!

After all the fun at my parents house we got home, changed and did our annual egg hunt with just our three...

... they're excited because there are three golden eggs out there.  They're each allowed to pick one (they're taped shut) and once everyone has all their eggs they open them up at the same time and two have $5 and one has $10.  Their reactions are always so fun to watch and Griffin is on a streak with getting the big prize 2 years in a row.

They all took off in the same direction and Dave and I were just waiting for someone to get pushed into the pool!

And my most favorite picture from the whole day is our nephew Davis in his "gentlemans jacket" pouting just for the sake of pouting ;)  He is PRECIOUS and cracks us up so much!  He's mini-mason and watching him brings me back!

I hope y'all had a wonderful weekend!

HAPPY TUESDAY!

  8. We used to do the exact same thing with the color coded eggs! It was a great way to make sure everything was divide dup equally. Looks like a fabulous time was had by all.
