Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us!!!!  If you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or both!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

First up is one of my FAVORITE teacher memes of all time :)  It's funny because it's true!

Next up is one of my very FAVORITE school traditions... the senior walk.  Our school is PK-12 and so lots of our seniors have been on campus since they were 5 and so a few years ago they started putting on their caps and gowns and walking through the elementary school and then up through middle and finally high school.  Everyone stands outside their classrooms and cheers them on and I cry every single year.

Book fair was this week and here was Mason's FAVORITE purchase...

The weather has been warmer this week and Griffin's class came and got Chips and Queso to take them out during recess. Fairly certain it was their FAVORITE 30 minutes of the week.

I ordered a few repeats and a few new things to try from the Sephora sale and they arrived this week....

The Bum Bum Cream has been a FAVORITE for a while now and I'm happy say that  the shower gel is just as good.  It's creamy, lathers up like a champ and smells HEAVENLY just like the cream.

I LOVE Moroccanoil products and  their texture spray is my very favorite.  I love that it gives texture while still feeling light and not sticky.  I also use and love their  hair oil and  heat protectant spray.

I feel like I've tried all the "good" dry shampoos and always go back to my trusty Batiste but Jeni gave me a pack of mini dry shampoos from Dry Bar for Christmas and I really liked them.  I don't use dry shampoo very often but thought I'd grab  a full size to see if I like it as much as the holiday scents.

So I'm totally loyal to my  Colleen Rothschild Cleansing Balm at night to remove makeup and wash my face but I have been looking for a cleanser to use in the morning that was more exfoliating and less moisturizing.  I've heard great things about drunk elephant and so I grabbed  their JuJu bar and it's SO GOOD!  It's lightly exfoliating but doesn't make my face bright red like a lot of exfoliating products do and leaves my skin SO clean and smooth.  It's recommended for 3 days a week so my plan is to use it every other and then keep using my  witch hazel on mornings I don't use the bar.

I mentioned  Glam Glow a while back and IT IS SO GOOD!!! It's a glowy moisturizer that has the teeniest bit of really pretty shimmer.

Last, I grabbed  the Laneige lip mask that I've heard people raving about and so far am loving it!  I'm only a few days in but it's definitely hydrating and I feel like it will last for a really long time.

I saw these memes from mommymemejeans this week and I couldn't stop laughing...

I VIVIDLY remember watching Rescue 911 as a kid - anyone else?  The one where the mom lifts the car off of her baby??!?!  Why were we watching this show?!?!?!

I also remember going to the library to check out stacks of scary story books along with Lurlene McDaniel... so I was constantly freaked out or thinking I had a terminal illness.  Just me?

This girl is my FAVORITE sideline sidekick... she always has the best snacks and if you find a cartwheel motivating to your football performance she's 1000% your girl.

One of my FAVORITE pics from last week was this one of Griffin and Rosie from Friday after school. They were both snoozing away :)  PRECIOUS

Hoping y'all have the best weekend! We'll be doing lots around the house to get ready for next week which is extra busy.

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

  10. I absolutely teared up when you shared the senior walk on Instagram. Homeward Bound has always made my daughter sob, I mean sob, from a very young age. Still does, she is 26.
