Weekend Recap: NYE Edition

Dave worked on Thursday and we had plans with friends that night so the kids and I had our own special little NYE lunch complete with balloon drop :)

We had sparkling cider and a snack plate and watched Dude Perfect videos and laughed way too hard.

Even Rosie got in on the festivities :)

I had decorated earlier in the week... it was pretty much just disco balls around the room and then a fun mantle.

Thursday night we gathered up another snack tray and headed to ring in the new year with some dear friends.  We played games and hung out until after 1 a.m. and just had the best time.

Friday we slept in WAY late and worked on packing up the last little bit of Christmas decor (except for the tree in my bedroom) and cleaning the layer of glitter that I feel like covered our entire house :)

I wrapped up this little 2020 recap video and we watched it multiple times :)

I had a chance to run to Anthropologie and LOOK what I found!  Their  Christmas dishes are my FAVORITES and I was so pumped to find these guys on sale (and then marked down again! SCORE!)

Two of my nephews hung out with us on Saturday and Sunday and we played our hearts out...

.... including making Rosie a ramp :)

We ended Saturday with a pretty epic movie/sleepover night...

... and took the crazy train out on the road on Sunday ;)

I hope y'all had a fun and safe NYE!  Happy 2021, friends!

  1. Looks like fun!

I have the same plant you have on your console; you can pull up the extra stems and simply replant if you wanted. Or leave it full.

  5. Your New Year's Eve lunch looks like so much fun! You are such a great mom creating memories like that with your kids. My boys and I have never once even made it up to midnight on NYE never mind 1!
