Christmas Recap - Part 2

On Christmas morning the kids woke up to find this setup in the playroom...

Buddy and the elf babies left for the north pole and Santa left their stockings up here for them to go through together when they woke up super early.

Buddy also did us a solid and left this note by the stairs :)

Same kid, same.

We showed each other our stockings (Mason got "tiny hands" which were a huge hit!)...

... ate biscuits and gravy and enjoyed a slow morning together.

Highlights were a new American Girl doll...

... a lego rocket...

... and cornhole for Mason :)  #notpictured

It was just the five of us and we played, ate biscuits and gravy and I forgot to take pics.  Ooops!

Before lunch we loaded up and headed to my parents place...

Gibi and Haha had a scavenger hunt set up that led the kids to their gifts.  We did that and then spent the rest of the day snacking, exploring, playing and just enjoying each others company.

I read...

... we walked...

... and we watched the Polar Express while warming our feet by the fire.

We basked...

... and competed...

... and rode bikes...

... and enjoyed a GORGEOUS sunset along with some pretty amazing star gazing.

And just for fun I put together this fun little movie with some Christmas day (and season) highlights
