Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!! It's Homecoming today and we are all SO EXCITED!  Even though things are different this year we're all ready for some Friday Night Lights, mums and PERFECT football weather.

Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us and if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

Spirit days are some of my FAVORITE days!  College game day..

Cotton candy day...

... and CRAZY day! There was also Throwback Thursday but I didn't grab a pic.

Sunrises have been exceptionally great this week - my FAVORITE morning view!

And one of my FAVORITE homecoming traditions!!!

YOU GUYS!!!  I ordered  this personalized denim jacket and could not be happier!  It's SO CUTE and is going to be perfect for all kind of school and sports events.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!  I got the medium so that I could wear it over sweaters and sweatshirts and it's oversized perfection.

I shared my FAVORITE Halloween books last week and ordered  this cute book to (hopefully) add to our collection this year.  The shipping time was pretty crazy so it may be one that I stick away for next year but either way it looks precious!

Walking to lunch earlier this week and saw this on the circle...

... cursive is her FAVORITE!

Also, this picture came across my memories feed this week - that teeny baby in Matilda Jane and a HUGE bow! FAVORITES!

Griffin had her very first AR store and she was SO EXCITED about getting to shop with the "AR Bucks" she earned by reading.

One of her purchases was a "color reveal" Barbie which was completely pink until you submerged it into warm water and then...

Look how fun!

Another FAVORITE this week was getting to look out my window and see Mason and some friends playing football during recess...

And last but not least meet HANK!

I grabbed this guy at Target and I have a feeling that moving him around this month is going tobe one of our new FAVORITE traditions.  The kids had no idea I was getting him (neither did I before running into the store) and they are already so excited about getting to pose him and surprise each other.

I'm off to get ready for a busy day and fun weekend!  HAPPY FRIDAY, FRIENDS!!!

  2. I’m
Curious as a teacher as well we have had several cohorts quarantined but no positive tests yet. I see at recess the kids are playing close, no masks, etc....has your school had any quarantine issues? We go back full kids Monday and it’s freaking many out. Curious as to how things are at schools where mask wearing isn’t mandatory and you have full kids.

    1. We have had ZERO cases in elementary (no masks required) or middle school (masks when they can’t social distance)!

    2. I'm in Arkansas and work at a preschool for kiddos with developmental disabilities. We haven't been closed a single day and have only had 1 positive (teacher) case (with no spread from that teacher). I hope this is an encouragement!

  3. My girlfriend bought that same skeleton at Target and put it in the baby seat part of the cart while shopping. Her and her family are having lots of fun with it.

  8. I have a skeleton guy in my classroom. I call him Indiana Bones. Lol I dress him up in school gear, headphones and Chromebook, hat gloves, reading a book, drinking a coffee, holding a football in a football jersey, Steelers team shirt etc
