Happy Friday, friends! It's just me today and I wanted to remind you that if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to me and share your own Friday Favorites post.
A new FAVORITE activity this week has been Magnatiles on the garage door. Seriously SO MUCH FUN!!!
Another FAVORITE from the week was having Earl (and his human sister Aly who is one of G's besties) over for a playdate :)
Rosie is a BABY and this is about as close as she'd get but look how sweet they are!
Puzzles were another FAVORITE this week. This is a White Mountain puzzle we borrowed from a friend but you can check out a lot of our other favorite puzzles HERE.
Lots of y'all ask if Rosie gets into puppy mischief and the answer is YES. One of my NOT FAVORITE places she likes to hide is right here...
Monopoly Deal is our new FAVORITE game. We've been playing multiple rounds multiple times a day and it's awesome because it's quick, there's strategy involved and everyone can play.
And the beanie boos have been playing lots of mini golf :)
Matching with my girl is my FAVORITE...
Her too :) hahaha
Apparently jumping into the pool like this is our FAVORITE...
I know that I've definitely been guilty of lamenting over my kids growing up but y'all... one of my FAVORITE things is when they find new little pieces of independence. Griffin has been handling her own showers from start to finish including brushing her hair, putting on lotion after ;) , etc and that smile says it all! How proud she is about it is my FAVORITE!!!
Another FAVORITE from the week was working with my kids in the McKinney Little Free Pantry warehouse. I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that the kids had a food drive and we brought food up to one of the pantries for a school event and fell in love with their mission - well, we committed to a weekly volunteer spot and sweating it out with them to pack 26 crates of food and 4 crates of toiletries was by far my FAVORITE moment from the week.
They did so well and we're all excited for this opportunity to serve as a family!
Happy Friday, friends!!!

You are definitely in a “sweet spot” right now. Young enough that you still call the scheduling shots but old enough that they have opinions, independence, and can make some choices. Enjoy your summer!!!

Your kids are at such fun ages. I love that you're serving together and teaching them a love of serving others.
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought of Magnatiles on the garage door! Fun new activity for when the grandkids come to Mimi's:). Also, finding an opportunity to serve as a family is golden, definitely a favorite:).
ReplyDeleteWe love monopoly deal and I just showed the boys the pic with the magnetic tiles: they are now using them on the door to the garage!

You have so many fun activities for your family- it's lovely to see this and bringing me a good sunshine break from all that's been happening:) Come and link up over at my blog if you'd like for my weekly Friday link up party- thanks!
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of kicking myself for never thinking of using our magnatiles on the garage door; what a great idea! That is so fabulous that you are volunteering with the kids! Our food pantry only allows older kids to volunteer so it was never something I could do with my boys when they were younger and by the time they could help they are off working at "real"/ paying jobs. :(
