Weekend Top 10

It's been almost two months since I've done a weekend top 10... mainly because our weekend have looked pretty much exactly like our week days minus school.  BUT this one was a really sweet one so here we go...

We spent most of the weekend doing yard stuff... part of which involved cleaning up the gazebo and hanging their hammocks in there.  It's a space we have rarely used but I think they'll use a lot now...

Speaking of yard work... Luke KILLED IT this weekend!  He's had his eyes on a couple of Lego sets and he worked SO HARD to earn the money to buy them.  Also, look at his little shadow keeping an eye on him :)

Can you even?!?!  There was a HUGE storm which knocked down a TON of leaves last week so he had his work cut our for him.

School outside on Friday was extra sweet.

There was a Lego boat building competition...

... homemade apple crisp...

... and a nap or two.

There was plenty of sunshine...

... some questionable yardwork practices by Dave :)  Can y'all spot him????

... poolside pizza...

... and a lot of lounging around ;)

HAPPY Monday, friends!!!

  3. I could stare at that puppy all the live long day. She is so cute! Your questionable yardwork by your hubby made me laugh. I caught mine up on the highest ladder we own, on top of our deck a couple of weeks ago trimming the tree branches back. All in his pajamas, no less! I have also caught him high up in a tree a time or four doing the same thing. I told him that this is why men die faster than women.

    1. Does Rosie drool? I was sharing her picture with my mastiff owning daughter and she commented that they would love another one except for the sludge.......Another daughter has a St. Bernard, but she is a dry mouth so she does not drool....My chihuahuas just ...bark.

    2. So far no drool - I've heard that it's much more common in the males but we'll see!

    3. We have a bullmastiff and the only drool is after she drinks or when she is longily looking at our food. LOL!!! You're going to love having a mastiff!

    1. We did!!! I never thought I'd feel comfortable enough to do it but we're more than likely going to have some work done to our pool/decking this summer and so the timing was right - turns out I LOVE IT without the fencing!

  7. My husband Dave went up on the roof to clean the gutters and thought our 8 year could join him?! I said, "can you not?! We do not want to go to the hospital right now (or ever!)"
Love all your pretty things by the sink.
