Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  Not sure how but this week FLEW by!

Erika and I are so excited that lots of y'all are linking up with us and if you're linking up with us make sure you grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.

Favorites from the week include lots of puppy kisses...

... a  new FAVORITE game...

...and  a birthday parade for one of our FAVORITE people.

I have a new FAVORITE family picture...

... and a FAVORITE moment from the week was when the kids set up a wedding for G and Mason's stuffed animals complete with a dessert bar and bartender :)  Your dad might be in food/bev if...

We grabbed chicken minis (yes, ma'am!) and this was my FAVORITE part...

... and lots of rain means lots of happy flowers which are always my FAVORITE.

A sweet girl from the neighborhood has been leaving these ADORABLE painted rocks by our mailbox (we know it's a girl because she signs her first name on the back).  HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?!   FAVORITE part of the week for sure.

After 9 pm Rosie is OUT.  We often have to pick her up and physically carry her outside to go to the bathroom before we crate her for the night or in this case before Dave brought her upstairs to snuggle with Mason for a bit.  Not sure how much longer we're going to be able to do that!

Rainy day walks were a FAVORITE this week...

... as was rescuing this turtle from our pool and bringing him back to the creek.

I got peonies from Trader Joe's this past weekend and watching them open this week was a FAVORITE.

This is  one of my FAVORITE dresses because it's a great length, I really like the fit and it's light/cool enough to wear when it's hot but I like having my arms covered when I know I'm going to be in air conditioning.

... and these two having a stare off over a piece of toast was one of my FAVORITE moments :)  Spoiler alert - Luke won

Last, but not least - the kids had their first Dibs! of the summer this week.  It's everyone's FAVORITE pool treat and they taste just as good as they did last summer (and the summer before that and the summer before that...)

Happy Friday, friends!!!

  2. That picture of Dave holding Rosie...the cutest!!! And I think I just figured something out. When I was in middle school I loved to eat these things called Bon Bons that were vanilla ice cream balls covered in chocolate. I loved them! I was just thinking the other day that we've never seen them when we're in the US. Is that what Dibs are?

  5. Are pools open in Texas? So far Minnesota has kept all pools closed. And it is soooooo humid here. I'd give anything for a pool right now!

    2. It varies by neighborhood and HOA. The country club pools are open at a reduced capacity but our neighborhood pools aren't open yet.
