Happy Friday, friends!!! It's been a BUSY week and I've had no voice for about 90% of it so I am SO READY for some rest this weekend.
Erika, Narci and I are all sharing our FAVES today and we'd love it if you'd join us and share your own FAVORITES this week as well! All you need to do is grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites post.
I'm the first to admit that I LOVE the elf on the shelf. It's fun, it's creative and I LOVE seeing their excited little faces in the mornings.
Monday morning the kids woke up and found that Buddy had packed them a nutritious lunch for their first day back at school...
... and Tuesday morning he was determined to stay warm and toasty :)
Wednesday morning he had some important news about the "cookies" he had...
... and Thursday the kids woke up to find a candy cane hide and seek in the playroom.
This little guy arrived this week and I am SO EXCITED for what I have planned for him :)
The way she accessorized her uniform earlier this week was my FAVORITE... leopard and green hunter boots??? Yes ma'am.
My FAVORITE person and I celebrated 14 years of marriage this week! He was supposed to be working so I went to Shay's recipe party, but when his work thing cancelled at the last minute he ended up taking the kids to his grandma's house to celebrate his mom's birthday that was earlier in the week.
Dave's grandma will be 99 in January - GO MINNIE FAE!!! - and Mason had so much fun with her ;) Apparently she was in an extra funny mood and Mason was HERE FOR IT!
And I was laughing so hard because Griffin found a cassette tape and had no clue what it was :)
Happy Anniversary to my FAVORITE person!
Does he know the way to my heart, or what?!?! :)
We had our Sunday School party this week and I took approximately 2 pictures. We hang out, eat dinner and play a bunch of "minute to win it" style games.
This year I pulled the games from parties past and we had a really good time. If you're looking for some fun Christmas party games make sure you check out the posts below...
I talked about our FAVORITE new Christmas books yesterday and forgot to mention that one of the sweetest parts is that the kids have been bringing them in the car in the morning and reading them to each other on the way to school. Y'all. I can't.
PS - we were PARKED on our cul-de-sac when I took this picture
Dance day is her FAVORITE day and I thought she looked so cute on our way in this week. The dance booties. The Christmas sweater. The bogg bag. That high pony. SO CUTE!!!
I got sucked into a Black Friday sale at AE and ordered a matching pajama set and YOU GUYS!!! They're so so so soft and warm but not thick or hot and the colors are so fun! I always size up in PJS and they're baggy but not huge (aka perfect). AND THEY HAVE POCKETS!!!
Both pieces are still on sale - woo hoo!
I FINALLY ordered a big mirror and I'm LOVING IT!!! New favorite for sure! It's under $130, HUGE and comes on an easel so you don't have to hang it.
I love the thin frame and the quality is great. My plan was to hang it BUT I may avoid putting holes in the wall since the easel is so sturdy. We'll see. If you're looking for a great mirror make sure you check it out!
This weekend we have two birthday parties, Mason's first basketball game and I'm taking Mason to see A Christmas Carol. I'm hoping to finish decorating the tree in our master bedroom and (fingers crossed) start some Christmas baking.
HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

ReplyDeleteLove all your Elf on the shelf ideas! This is the first year we don't have an elf and while I kind of miss it I am mostly relieved as it gets really hard to hide him once your kids start staying up later than you do!
ReplyDeleteI love your elf on the shelf ideas. Can you keep posting some more? I am struggling this year with ideas.
