Leftover Halloween Candy Cookies

I'm not sure about your house but there is A LOT of candy hanging around our place and somehow eating it in cookie form seems better than just eating it on it's own ;)  These cookies were a HIT at our house and with some co-workers we shared a batch with - everyone loved that you never really knew what was going to be in each bite and they were chewy and absolutely delicious.

Here's What You'll Need
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2.5 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups chopped candy

Here's What You'll Do

Step 1) Cream together the butter and sugars.  Add in 4 egg yolks and the vanilla extract.  Mix until combined.

Step 2) Add in the flour, salt, baking soda and baking powder and mix until combined.  Stir in the candy.

Step 3) Drop by heaping tablespoons onto a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

So good, so easy and such a great way to use up that last bit of extra candy.

Happy baking, friends!!!

    1. About 4 dozen. I used a measuring tablespoon for a rounded scoop, but not a heaping tablespoon. I used a heaping scoop in a soup spoon and made 2 dozen before.
