Happy Friday, friends! Erika, Narci and I are all sharing our FAVORITES from the week and we'd love it if you'd join us! Just link back to one (or all!) of us, grab our graphic and link up at the bottom of the post.
Things have been SUPER low key this week which has been great. Lots of time at home with nothing on our agenda and it's been lovely.
The kids have been so excited about fishing lately and we've made several trips out to some ponds in the neighborhood...
Saturday morning they didn't catch much...
... but Mason did snag his hook on some branches or something and Luke GOT IN to help him out ;)
Also... when did he turn 15?!?!
... but Griffin did catch a crawfish :)
When your FAVORITE bag doubles as a bench :)
Taking a quick tea break while we grabbed the lawn chair...
The kids went back to the pond later in the week and in the evening and had some amazing luck. Night fishing is now their new FAVORITE :)
Biggest fish award!!!
Tuesday night we had dinner with some of our FAVORITE people...
... and this dress is my new FAVORITE. I wore it to the Texas party a couple of weekends ago and have paired it with flip flops, clogs and boots. So cute and comfy and it's on sale!
My new FAVORITE recipe has been on repeat all week. Click HERE in case you missed it!
We had so much fun celebrating our FAVORITE guy last weekend...
... the kids each made him a book and watching them read through them was the best.
I saw this earlier this week and it was my FAVORITE! #fixitjesus
Red, White and Blue outfits are some of my very FAVORITE to shop for and there is SO MUCH CUTE STUFF right now for girls...
Boys...
and adults, too :)
And Mason recreating one of my FAVORITE pictures of him as a baby was the best :)
Griffin has been living her FAVORITE summer life this week :)

At the pool earlier this week Mason was working HARD on one of his front teeth and right before we left he popped it out! Toothless smiles are my FAVORITE smiles!
Happy HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

My hubby loves fishing as well. My boys are starting to grow out of it and that makes me sad. One will enthusiastically go with dad still though. Anyway, I love the book idea from the kids to dad! So sweet!
ReplyDeleteI tried that burrito bowl this week, and it was delicious! Have a wonderful weekend!

My husband and oldest son spent about 3 hours fishing on father's day and apparently caught a lot as it was sprinkling. I'll go once in awhile but really prefer when they ask me to stay home! LOL. I love exhibit c and what that pool float for myself.
ReplyDeleteDo they catch & release their fish or do you clean & fry them?
