Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  I'm so excited that  Erika and Narci are back with me today sharing their FAVORITES.  As always, you can grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own Friday Favorites.

I went back to work on Monday, but the kids had one more day of break.  The boys were invited to a friends house and I got these pictures while sitting in accreditation meetings :)

God bless January in Texas! :)

One of our very FAVORITE people was home from college and we were so excited to get to hang out with her last week!  We love you, McKinley!!!

We had to run to one of our FAVORITE places last weekend and their favorite part (and my least favorite!) is always the carts.

I take that back... Mason's favorite part is double fisting the hot dogs on the way out :)

The weather over the weekend was GORGEOUS and these little warm spells are our FAVORITE because we get to get out and enjoy ALLLLLL the outdoor activities.

I mentioned that we love doing puzzles and we completed another one of our FAVORITES before we went back to school.

Going back to school meant that I had to wear something other than my Christmas break favorites...

And while I was bummed to not wear big sweatshirts and leggings I wasn't too upset because it's tights weather - which is my FAVORITE.

Y'all know I'm always on the hunt for dresses that work for multiple seasons, have appropriate coverage (I stand in front of middle schoolers all day!) and are have something a little bit unique.

This shirt dress fit all my requirements...

And I was pretty instantly sold on the animal print mixing on  this one...

I'm exciting on wearing these all winter and then into the Spring!

Lola Dutch is one of Griffin's absolute FAVORITE books and we are SO EXCITED to go to an author event at Playstreet in Plano next weekend.  You can click  HERE to register - it's $25 and includes a signed copy of  brand new Lola Dutch When I Grow Up book!

This week I made one of  our very FAVORITE soups ever...

... and we spent a ton of time building with  my kids new favorite blocks.

Getting up early isn't my FAVORITE, but getting to see some pretty amazing sunrises is!

(ps - took this standing in the parking lot at school)

Getting back into our groove and routine has been GREAT but also a little bit exhausting...

... for everyone :)

HAPPY Friday, friends!!!

    1. I don't know if you got as big of a kick out of that post where you said 'No real pants. No actual (plans)' that I thought was no actual pants, but I still start laughing out of nowhere when I think about it! Also, your Plus Plus look much bigger than ours?! I didn't know there were 2 sizes?

    2. So funny!!! And YES I laughed REALLY hard about that! These are the "midi" size plus plus... I was afraid that the mini ones would end up EVERYWHERE

  5. Weeks back after breaks can be a little bit brutal. I am missing my leggings and sweatshirt outfits from Christmas break as well. I love those dresses.

  8. Two things:
    1) My teacher girlfriends and I were lamenting over which was worse for back to school this week... putting on a real bra or having to pack our lunches again. LOL

    2) That potato soup is going on next week's menu plan. My husband is a big soup fan and told me it sounds good to him.

    Happy 2nd semester Andrea!!
