Happy Friday, friends!!! We have had a super busy week and the weekend is pretty packed so I'm attempting to keep things short and sweet today ;)
Erika, Narci and I are sharing our FAVORITES for the week and we'd love for you to link your Friday Favorites post with ours at the bottom of the post (don't forget to grab our graphic and link back to one or all of us!)
Jelly Bean has been spending more time inside because she's the kids FAVORITE. I love watching them play and she really is the sweetest. What's not the sweetest is finding ornaments all over the house that she's knocked off the tree, off of the garlands on the railing, etc. :) But we forgive her because of this...
We have a big ol' bin of dressup clothes in the garage and every once in a while the kids get in there and get crazy and it's my FAVORITE. I mean...
Basketball in our jammies is a FAVORITE...
And our pre-church pics are my FAVORITE...
And these gorgeous anniversary flowers are my FAVORITE too :)
Speaking of anniversaries - Monday was our 13th wedding anniversary and when we were talking about what we wanted to do to celebrate we decided to postpone a date night because I had a party on Tuesday night, our church party was Wednesday night and I had just gotten my computer back that day from being repaired and was trying to play catch-up on Christmas cards for clients and long story short we decided to go shop for our angel tree kids, make a Costco run and go eat quesadillas as a family. I mean, if this doesn't scream "happy thirteen years" I'm not really sure what does :)
Luke made the comment that we were walking down a much different aisle 13 years later... the Costco aisle :)
Now a PSA - if there is a Dilla's restaurant near you GOOOOOOOOO now! We LOVED the queso and whatever quesadilla was the BBQ brisket (the lonestar, maybe?) was awesome!
I mentioned earlier that Jelly Bean has been loving being inside, but has been messing with ornaments, well, here she is in her FAVORITE spot...
My FAVORITE sweater in my FAVORITE color. Perfection.
Shay hosted her annual recipe exchange party this week and this year the theme was Mexican food (and pjs - hahaha). I wore this "Guacin Around the Christmas Tree" sweatshirt and it's actually WAY better than I thought it would be. I will most definitely be wearing it to school the week before Christmas and I've worn it a couple of nights this week as pjs - so cozy!
We had SO MUCH FUN and I brought my chicken enchiladas to share.
This week I also brought out what I'm dubbing my "happy pants". I love a pretty floral and these high waisted beauties made me smile all day long. (WARNING! They are ridiculously long and ridiculously high waisted... BUT if you order them in petite and don't plan on wearing a top that tucks in they're great)
While I was looking up a link for the pants I saw that Anthro just put a ton of great things on sale AND there's an additional 30% off of all those sale items. Check it out...
I mean! Good stuff! If you love the Capri Blue pumpkin candles as much as I do they have several on sale and then an additional 30% off making them under $20!
This weekend is "that weekend" where everything seems to happen at the same time. If you need me tonight you can find me resting up because we have the Gift of Christmas at Prestonwood, a birthday party, the Christmas parade, the Nutcracker and Santa pictures. I mean.
I hope y'all have a wonderfully festive weekend!

Girl, your weekend is packed! It’s going to be a good one! And those floral pants are adorable on you! So cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for hosting. I look forward to doing lots of visiting this morning.
ReplyDeleteYAY! Hope you enjoyed!
DeleteThat first photo of Jellybean is great!! The expression on her face is priceless. Isn't it great watching the kids and their pets play together. They have a really special bond. When Lauren was a baby we had this cat that followed her everywhere and Lauren's second word that she spoke after mama was actually ki-ki (much to my husband's disappointment... sorry dad).

Jellybean is a hot mess! And yes - I absolutely LOVE watching them play :)
DeleteJelly Bean is adorable!! My cat, Miss Purr, also loves to knock ornaments off our tree. She's a bundle of energy and we love her.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute kitty name!
DeleteSuch a fun post!!! Lovin' so much shoes, cute smiles, and your bag (where can I find that?!) Have a wonderful, fun weekend!!
ReplyDeleteIts by hawk and dove - it's made from a linen WWII duffel bag!
DeleteLove the floral pants! And love sweet Jellybean, she looks so tiny and precious.
ReplyDeleteThank you! We're assuming she's full grown but sh's still pretty teeny :)
DeleteYour sweater was like my favorite part of the party! Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI mean - we love us some guac!
DeleteCan you tell me where you found Griffin's purse?
ReplyDeleteOf course! It was clearance at Nordstrom
DeleteI love all those sweaters you are wearing :) and those clogs are so cute. You make me want to get a pair ;)!
ReplyDeleteYou need a pair! They are surprisingly comfy as well!
DeleteHow about when your cute pants match your cute phone case?! Now that should make your day! ;) And I need that sweatshirt! Hahahaha. So funny but it also looks cozy! That Inspired Chick
ReplyDeleteSO FUNNY!!
DeleteI love your favorite sweater! So cute!!! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! Our cat used to play with the ornaments but he's so old now that he doesn't even care anymore. Your photos kind of make me miss when he was young and playful... but eh, maybe not. He is much easier now. I have had to replace every single one of my villagers from our Christmas village because he just about decapitated or broke an arm/ leg off every single one batting them around.
ReplyDeleteAwww - I wish that she was a little lazier!
DeleteCan you tell me where your shoes are from??? Though I'm sure you have said it before, I just love them!!
ReplyDeleteThe clogs? They're by Lotta from Stockholm :)
