I've mentioned on several occasions that I'm a planner... especially when it comes to holidays. When eBay reached out and asked me to check out their selection of holiday decor I was SO EXCITED! It turns out that eBay has a huge selection of home decor and holiday must haves and I had a great time perusing. eBay is MUCH more than an auction site - 81% of the merchandise is actually available with a "buy it now" option and 69% of the listings ship for free!
I've wanted a flocked Christmas tree for years - I ADORE the look but didn't want to commit to having one in our main living areas since none of my garlands are flocked - and I was impressed with the huge selection of trees available.
Ultimately, we went with this tree because of the great reviews, fast and free shipping and gorgeous fullness. It arrived super quickly and I was anxious to get it out of the box and check it out...
Y'all. It's GORGEOUS!!!
It's the perfect width for the space in our bedroom, it's SO FULL and the flocking is incredible.
I wanted to get it up and in the space to check on size and make sure it would work and it took allllll of my willpower not to get it all lit up and decorated. I tried out white and green lights on it this past weekend and Dave had to talk me off of the decorating edge :)
I grabbed these ornaments for the tree...
... so I think you'll be able to understand my urge to start decorating.
I fell in love with the vintage mercury glass style of these ornaments and here are a few eBay listings that have a similar look...
My partner in crime was anxious to get the decor on as well :) but we managed to resist... for now. Thanksgiving weekend you know where you'll find us!
My last comment about the tree is that I was prepared for there to be A LOT of mess. The tree had to be "fluffed" when I got it out and I was super surprised by how little flocking was actually on the floor.
And since we're talking about eBay, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that my FAVORITE vacuum ever is available for a steal (with free shipping!) just in time for all the pre and post holiday cleanup we'll all be doing. I adore the Dyson stick because of the cordless portability and convenience and the fact that it cleans just as well as my larger Dyson. The amazing prices may be the little push I need to bite the bullet and make my dreams of an "upstairs stick vacuum" come true. Seriously though - the vacuum is so easy to use and lightweight that all three of my kids can use it completely on their own and I dream of them having one upstairs to use in their rooms, playroom and bathroom. #thisis35 #momlife :)
Me: "Hey, Dave... take a picture of me vacuuming next to the Christmas tree"
Dave: "Uhhhh.... okay???"
And... blog husband of the year goes to.... DAVE MCANALLY :)
Just when you thought this post couldn't get any more Christmas-y, let's talk about these dishes!!! I'm a huge fan of all things Molly Hatch and when I found these I had to scoop them up.
Her pieces often sell out at Anthropologie and as soon as I saw them I knew that they'd be perfect to stash away and get out at Christmas time styled on a tiered stand...
You can CLICK HERE to browse tons of her pieces on eBay!
If you like to plan ahead OR I've convinced you to start thinking ahead I highly recommend heading to eBay and checking out what they have for Holiday and every day. Now, the hard part will be putting these things away until it's time to pull them out :)
Happy Wednesday and Happy shopping, friends!
PS - Thank you to eBay for partnering with me on this post. I had so much fun putting this post together and appreciate the opportunity to work with companies and brands that I love. The links used in this post are affiliate link. Thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog!

ReplyDeleteSo funny you posted about Ebay. I literally just bought some Anthro shams from there! I don't know why I can justify spending money on their quilts but their pillow shams kill me :) It just seems SO high for only 2! Found the ones I needed for only $40!
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea, I just wanted to let you know that Molly Hatch Christmas Collection is on major sale at Macy's today.
ReplyDeleteHi Andrea,
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know that the Molly Hatch Christmas Collection is on major sale at Macy's today!
I LOVE eBay! I've been a member as a buyer for almost 20 years, and I've had many, many pleasant experiences!
ReplyDeleteI don't live anywhere near major shopping centers, and I have medical issues that prevent me from getting out sometimes, so eBay is a great asset to my life! I can browse at my own pace and convenience, and I can find everything that I want and need for my entire family and pets in one place! The items offered are of great quality and super prices, depending on what you want and need. I've bought everything ranging from clothing, jewelry, home decor, pet items to even vehicle parts! I do a lot of shopping for my 3 year old grandson and I'm able to purchase an entire wardrobe for him with just a few clicks! He lives 150 miles away, so I have the packages sent straight to him, and he's so excited to receive his "surprises" in the mail. He loves watching for the mailman whenever he's expecting packages from eBay!
Thank you to eBay and members for helping make my shopping experience virtually stress free!!
