Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!  This week has FLOWN by and we're all geared up for a fun weekend.  I'll take a four-day-work week any time, right??? :)

Erika, Narci and I are all sharing our FAVORITES and we'd love for you to join us.  Grab our graphic and link back to one (or all!) of us and share your own post of FAVORITES.

First on my list is  this sweater.  It's a little bit out of my comfort zone (read - more cropped than I typically wear) but it is RIDICULOUSLY soft and I actually liked the fit more than I thought I would.  As soon as it cools down about 40 degrees this will be a closet staple :)

Look how soft!!!

Griffin was "bear of the week" for her class last week and she had to color in this poster to share.  Her family picture is my FAVORITE part.. but truthfully I love it all (her favorite animal is a cat and food is pizza.  When she grows up she wants to be a rockstar (hence the microphone) and two things she's good at are drawing kitties and rainbows).

I've been burning  this candle all week.  It's my FAVORITE fall scent and I can't get enough!

Last week we went to the first MCA football game of the season...

... and had the best time!

And yes... if you watched my instastory Griffin got to sit with her friends :)  So did the boys... but I didn't grab any pics of them with their friends because #toocoolformom

And then Griffin got a chance to cheer on the sidelines and every single one of those girls quickly because her FAVORITE :) I can't with those little pom poms behind her back!

And her sweet brothers cheered her on!  FAVORITE night!

I stopped in at Market Street earlier in the week and got THE BEST CHEESE EVER!  If you live near Henning's PLEASE go enjoy some on my behalf because HOLY YUM!

Mason had friends over on Monday and I have no clue what they were doing but the fact that they were all in costume was my FAVORITE :)

And meanwhile, Griffin was doing her FAVORITE thing...

I realize that I can't rush the weather by dressing for Fall - but I can try :)   These booties are my FAVORITE and I can't wait until I can wear them on the regular.

I paired them with old distressed jeans, an oversized button down and  this crossbody bag.

Apparently Luke has a new FAVORITE dance... the Macarena has made an appearance at lunch with friends and multiple times at home and it's cracking us all up!

I know I'm thinking waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay far ahead - but I just ordered these pajamas for our entire family.  Our Elf on the Shelf will bring them when he brings the North Pole Breakfast (eeek!) and I can not wait!  It's getting harder to find matching pjs that don't look too "baby" now that the boys are getting older and I think they'll get a kick out of  these one pieces.

I really like to order pjs ahead of time because if you wait too long then sizes sell out and if you're like me and want to check this off your list look at ALL THE CUTE JAMS that came out this week!  I love this line because it's organic, they're so so so soft and they wash amazingly well.

This set was my second choice - I loved that they had both a one and two-piece option for kids and adults and I loved the mens set with the henley.  If he guys in your life wouldn't be on board with fitted PJ bottoms this could be the set for you!

The entire line is so cute and has a ton of great options fully stocked right now.  I love the fair isle set with the women's gown and the buffalo plaid set with the DOG SCARF!!!  I also think that they gray/red set is the pretty adorable too.

This weekend Mason has his FIRST flag football game of the season which has me reminiscing about last year's first game where a friend took this picture...

We're also excited to celebrate Beau's birthday and sneak in a nap ;)

Happy Friday, friends!!!

  13. I love those Capri Blue candles also but with only 1 wick in the center mine always burns straight down and I lose so much wax on the sides. I've tried taking a toothpick to push the wax down but don't really have much luck. The candles are more costly than Bath and Body candles, and I feel I don't get my monies worth. How do you handle this? Please help. :)

    1. Don't trim the wicks - it seems weird, but mine burn completely when I leave the wicks alone. You also have to make sure that you're burning it long enough that the entire surface has a chance to melt otherwise you'll just keep burning the center. Hope that helps!
