Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, friends!!!  I'm sharing my Friday Favorites today and if you have FAVORITES to share you should join me, Erika and Narci by grabbing our graphic and linking up with us below.

First up on my list are some SUPER FUN tabletop pieces from the  Anthropologie line at Nordstrom.  Anthropologie has been one of my favorite places to shop for YEARS so when you combine that with the free shipping and great customer service Nordstrom is known for it was a match made in HEAVEN for me ;)

We eat outside a TON in the summer and y'all know how much I love to mix and match fun patterned plates and so  these melamine floral beauties immediately caught my eye (and they're 20% off right now!!!)

I have them out on my counter in a little plate stand and love how they brighten up the space and add some fun pre-summer color (sidenote - anyone else go through a TON of straws in the Spring/summer?!?!).

The dishes even look pretty in my dish rack - hahaha :)

I also grabbed some of their  new summer dish towels and couldn't love them more...

The detailing on  the mermaid one is SO CUTE (and I have a few towels from Anthro like this and  have never had an issue with the poms)...

... and again I love the fun little pops of color.

I added a few little touches of color to my tiered stand including my FAVORITE candle...

... and feel like my house is ready for summer!

Here are the plates and dishtowels along with a few other items that would brighten up any space as we get closer to summer (and the Anthro items are on sale!)

Also as we gear up for summer I brought out #allthesunscreen for easy access :)

I kept hearing great things about  Supergoop all last summer and so I picked some up for our family and it's true love!!!  We haven't swam in it yet so I can't attest to the eye-burning factor (is that just my kids?!?!?) but it's easy to apply, rubs in beautifully and I don't feel like I have to wash my hands after spreading it on my kids.  New FAVORITE for sure!  (and yes... that's a giant loaf pan... it belonged to my Oma and I love having it as a catch all in our laundry room)

I saw this picture this week and immediately had to text it out to all of my co-workers :)  It's funny because it's true!

And when Mason's teacher sent me this earlier this week it was immediately a FAVORITE moment.  So proud of Mason!!!

Dinner on the go on baseball night.... Boursin cheese and triscuits are my FAVORITE!

Luke has been working on a penguin unit at school and seeing all of his hard work and how proud he was of it was a FAVORITE part of the week as well.

Jelly Bean's FAVORITE?!?!  This right here...

FAVORITE art from the week courtesy of Griffin :)

Nights watching this guy are my FAVORITE...

... and  this kimono wrap is still a FAVORITE in my closet.

Last, but not least, Mason's Spring football season ended this week and watching him find a sport that he LOVES has been a FAVORITE for us this school year.  He has played so hard and learned a ton and had the BEST time and we couldn't really have asked for more than that!  The picture below is him running their "Mason special" play during practice :)

I hope y'all have a great weekend!  We have minimal plans which I'm so looking forward to!

HAPPY FRIDAY, FRIENDS!!!

PS - Thank you so much to Nordstrom for partnering with me on this post.  It's always a pleasure to share brands and products that I love and Nordstrom is always at the top of that list.  Also, the links in todays post were affiliate links and as always - thank you so much for reading and supporting my blog!

  1. I need to order some of the Supergoob if it doesn't "burn" the eyes! Oh my goodness, that is a big issue in our house too and I have a 13 and 10 year old! HA :)

  4. So interestingly enough, I picked up a set of Nicole Miller melamine plates at Home Goods recently and they are a similar floral to the "pink" one. I kept going back to check for another floral set to create a mismatchy collection for our outdoor meals. These are PERFECT!!! I think I need some ;)

  7. I swear I'm not trying to shame you or anything but just a thought about you saying you go through a ton of straws - plastic straws are so, so bad for our world. It might be worth investing in some reusable ones? :) They're cheap and work just as well. Happy Friday!

    2. Love your comment Rose, I was about to suggest the same thing! I'm trying to reduce my straw usage as well, like not ordering drinks from fast food places, etc. I'm going to order some reusable ones now! Happy Friday to you both!!

  13. Kind of a random thing....my kids have had Boursin cheese on the shopping list for weeks and I can’t find it anywhere - I was beginning to think it was a holiday thing. Where have you found it?
