Amazon Lately

I'm rounding up my recent Amazon purchases again and I'm not sure my list has ever been quite this random :)

First up is  this 100-ft retractable hose.  Our hose out back split and when I was looking for a new one this one caught my eye because it was under $40 (who knew hoses were so expensive!), lightweight and supposedly would "retract" and be super easy to put away.

I was a skeptic but it's SO COOL!!! And who knew I'd be so excited about a hose.  But seriously - it's 100 feet long and this is how big it is when it's empty.  WHAT?!?!  It's easy to move around the yard, it doesn't tangle and it came with the little hanging hook and sprayer.  For $38 it's a STEAL

I feel like every 6 months or so we either lose or wear out all of our phone chargers.  Between phones and iPads we have several and I just recently ordered  our go-to four pack to replace a couple that need to be retired.

Griffin has her dance recital and I was told that  these hair pins were the best way to secure her bun so you better believe I listened to the experts and added some to my cart.

As lovely as the Kerastase mousse that Griffin's dance teacher used last weekend was I opted for  a cheaper version to use to pull her hair back and this should be here tomorrow...

... I'm hoping that it will be good for air drying my hair this summer as well.

While I was ordering hair stuff I also got an extra pack of  our favorite elastics.  These are what I use on Griffin and my hair when I pull it up and especially now that we're heading into summer I needed to restock.

If you've read my blog for a while then you probably already know about my deep love for  Dreft blissfuls :)  They're these little pellets that you shake into the wash and they make your laundry smell like HEAVEN.  We use free and clear detergent and dryer sheets so there are no competing smells and a few of these will make the whole load smell amazing.  I just got two containers in yesterday because I can't stand the thought of doing laundry without them.  (PS - if you love the smell of Dreft detergent but not the price these are for you!)

We're working on getting our end-of-the-year teacher gifts ready this week and I ordered  this set of blank cards and envelopes so the kids could make their own.  They were $11 for 50 cards and I think they'll be great to have on hand for birthday parties and making some fun mail to send to family this summer.

Luke had a board game party at school and all the kids brought games from home to share and play with their friends.  He came home RAVING about Stratego and so that evening I went online to look for it and found myself taking a trip down memory lane to game nights at my house and at my grandparent's houses growing up.  I ordered these three for my kids and they are LOVING them.  We play a LOT of games and I think these will get a ton of use this summer.

At the family camp we're going to this summer they have a "Western Night" and so I got  these boot socks for Griffin to wear with her cowboy boots.  Aren't they sweet?!?!

Several weeks ago I mentioned ordering  this peeling foot mask and it did not disappoint!  I'd been looking at the more expensive version for a while but wasn't willing to spend the $30 so when I saw this one which was  2 sets of masks for $12 I decided to try it out.  I followed the directions and soaked my feet almost daily after and within about 4 days the peeling started and after about a week literally the entire surface of both of my feet had peeled away and I was left with super soft skin.

My heels were the only area that I thought would actually peel but I was totally wrong.  If you've thought about trying one of these peels I think that this one would be a great one to start with.

I used  this pumice stone at the end of the week to help get rid of the remaining peeling skin (so gross, I know!) and it did the trick.  I've been using it in the shower to try and keep the calluses away and so far so good!

Typically when I travel I throw my toiletries in a ziplock bag, but when I went on the West Texas trip last month I decided to order  this hanging bag since I was going to be using a camp shower and thought it would be more convenient and I LOVED IT!  It was under $10 and I was able to hang it  and have access to everything.  If you're traveling this summer I highly recommend it!

This gel is a staple in our house.  It holds all day and is pretty inexpensive for the size of the container.  And my boys think the name is HILARIOUS! #bonus

Mason is OBSESSED with all things Dude Perfect and I grabbed  this shirt for him as a fun surprise.  It hasn't come in yet, but when it does I'll let you know what I think of the quality.

Last, but not least are these bathing suits.  They caught my eye and the price was right so I decided to take the chance.  They arrived a couple of days ago and the quality seems fine, but I haven't tried them on yet to get a feel for the sizing.  I'll keep you posted ;) (you can click directly on the pics to shop)

I'd love to know what's been Primed to your house recently!  Leave me a comment and let me know!

Happy TUESDAY, friends!

  2. You need to get the battery-operated roller foot thing. It works great! I used to always have scratchy heels and now I rarely have to use that and they're smooth as can be. :) Here is a linkhttps://www.amazon.com/Amope-Perfect-Electronic-Regular-Coarse/dp/B00LE99PA2/ref=sr_1_fkmr0_1_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1526378553&sr=1-1-fkmr0&keywords=amope%2Bvelvet%2Bsmooth&th=1

  4. Have you ever tried Bag Balm on your feet? My heels are always super dry so when I got a pedicure last month, that's what she told me to try. My heels have never been so soft! You can get it at farm supply stores (it's actually used on cows utters! Lol) in a green container.

    1. As a farm girl, I must let you know cows have udders (or bags) instead of utters. Don't mean to offend you. In our area, PA., Bag Balm is readily available at Walmart & other stores, too.
