Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, Friends!

Erika, Narci and I are sharing our Friday Favorites this week and we'd love for you to join in!  Grab our graphic, link back to one (or all!) of us and share!

Last week we had some of our FAVORITE friends over and y'all.... look how SWEET!!!  I try to keep Griffin out of the boys way when they have friends over, but we were about to walk to the park and Jack insisted on trying to carry GG up the stairs :)  So cute!

And please note our elf on the shelf's handiwork in the background :)

I'm not sure what was happening... but apparently it involved an army of zoob scorpions and a laundry basket :)

Another FAVORITE was when my aunt and cousin sent each of my kids one of those singing/dancing Christmas cards.  So much giggling.  So much dancing. :)

Griffin REALLLLLLY enjoyed hers.

Those little painted fingernails KILL me! :)

Told you she loved it!

Ummm.... when did she turn 12?!?!  And her hat is from HERE.  It's seriously the cutest!

Another FAVORITE was when Brayden was working in the yard and knocked on the door to tell us that there was a GIANT leaf pile that we might want to take advantage of before he bagged them all up.

This kid and his dirty face are my FAVORITE :)
(he was going down the slide face first)

Several of y'all have asked about the cookie press I used when making my giant batch of shortbread cookies so I got out the instruction manual in case you wanted to be on the lookout for one.  I couldn't find it online... but I got mine at Homegoods years and years and years ago.  #nothelpful #sorry ;)

I also got questions about my new FAVORITE poncho and you can find it HERE.  It's $42 ($100 off!!!) and reversible, so when you look at it online mine is the navy... it just doesn't look like the one in the picture because I reversed it.

And y'all!  Look at my new FAVORITE Sid Dickens tile from Dave and the kids.  There are three eggs in the nest! LOVE!

Monday night we wrapped up our Christmas festivities with some of our FAVORITE people at our annual McAnally Christmas celebration.

No clue what is happening with Mason's face :)

Such a fun time!!!

My Oma was in town for Christmas and having someone to show all his Lego creations to was Luke's FAVORITE :)  I think it may have been her favorite as well!

Raking is her FAVORITE ;)

And Wednesday night we had my FAVORITE - family movie night!!!  We went and saw Sing and had the best time.  The movie was PRECIOUS, the popcorn was delicious and the company was great :)

Yesterday afternoon we headed to one of our FAVORITE places - Playstreet!  We hit up the Plano location and the kids played for almost 4 hours and would have played longer if we didn't have to leave to run an errand and get home!

SO CUTE!!!

Luke hard at work :)

The cutest playhouse there ever was!

 Mason was hunting bears ;)

I taught Mason "the dot game" - I feel like it's a valuable life skill :)

Griffin played for EVER with this little horse set.  I ordered it last night for her birthday :)  I had a moment because I played with Breyer horses for YEARS growing up!

And I also made one of my kids FAVORITE dinners...

Last but not least, a couple of my FAVORITE brands EVER are having amazing sales right now!

Matilda Jane has tons of awesome pieces marked way down AND you can order directly from the website AND it's free shipping.  Score!  Click HERE to shop!  Both of these jackets are still available!

And Evys Tree is running a HUUUUGE clearance sale with items marked down up to 75% off.  Think gifts!!!  Click HERE to shop!  (pic below is me in the Samantha - LOVE the two-tone brown!)

Happy Friday, Friends!!! I hope y'all have a fun and safe weekend ringing in 2017!  We have plans for a pizza party and day at the lake.  See y'all back here on Monday!

  6. Love these little glimpses into your Christmas break week! Dave and the kids nailed it with your new Sid Dickens tile, so sweet and thoughtful! Love that movie theater, the seats recline and GG brought a blanket (personally, I'd be asleep as soon as the lights went out, so comfy!)And your Playstreet look like so much fun, if we had one I'd be taking the grandkids there for sure;). Enjoy your weekend, a pizza party and day at the lake sounds like a perfect way to bring in the New Year! May the Lord bless you and your sweet family, Andrea!

  7. Looks like a GREAT Christmas week! Singing/dancing cards are a fav around here as well. My three still have ones they received years ago. You never know when someone will bust out the dancing monkey. I like to move it move it...

  10. The Melissa and Doug horse set has been a favorite of my daughter's for years. You can sharpie their names above each spot, too. My Homegoods almost always has this set in the toy section, so keep your eye out for it so you might score a discounted price on them compared to online.

  12. Playstreet looks like so much fun for kids!! I wish we had one in Nebraska! Also, I don't know if you've blogged about this before, but do you have favorite hair products and brushes for Griffin's hair? How do you get her to sit still long enough to comb and do her hair every day? Have a great weekend!!

  13. Love how magical you made Christmas for your little ones, they look so excited! I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your shortbread recipe...they look absolutely delicious! Could you also share your recipes for the chocolate & white chocolate bark from a few days ago? Thank you so much!!!

  14. Hi! I'm obsessed with a poncho thing from Envy's Tree, but I don't know how it runs. Is there clothing true to size? Happy New Year!!!

  15. Could that little camper at Playstreet be any cuter??? What fun!!! Love Griffin's hat. She is such a doll as are the boys. Teaching them the dot game, well that's just genius. Now they can play it when waiting around places. Love that. Happy New Year, Andrea!!!
