Friday started off sweet with these cute "happy morning pictures" from Dave and Griffin :)
I taught my classes, had two meetings, got Luke to and from soccer practice and then Mason and I ran a couple of errands together. We picked up Luke and Griffin and headed home for Pizza Friday.
We spent the rest of the night watching movies and playing games and when Dave came home in between parties we introduced him to our new favorite app ;) My students have been telling me about Snapchat for FOREVER and I've always brushed it off, but when a friend was talking about how much fun it was at dinner on Tuesday I finally bit the bullet and have been having so much fun ever since! The faceswap filter almost made me pee in my pants :)
If you're on snapchat you can find me with my username momfesionals. I have no clue how often I'll be posting or even how it really works, but hopefully it will be fun.
Saturday morning was SUPER cold and this was the face Griffin gave me when I made her wear a jacket to dance....
... and then this face when she remembered we were going to DANCE!!!
Mason opted to come hang out with me and GG instead of sitting outside at the soccer game. Sunshine, an apple and his Kindle. Good choice, kid.
Meanwhile, at the North Pole :) (okay - it was like 40 degrees - but that's chilly!!!)
Looking so big!!! He's having the best time this season.
After dance Mason, Griffin and I stopped in at Trader Joes where I have to place items in their cart equally or else the world comes to a screeching halt.
Saturday afternoon we played outside, did laundry and ended the night with Rummikub with Haha :)
Sunday morning I did this...
... and when we got home from church she did some of this...
Sweet girl!!!
Sunday afternoon the boys went to a birthday party for one of Mason's friends and Dave snapped the funniest picture :) My favorite part is the little girls face!
Dave took the boys to the party and then to AWANAs and when he got home he got a good laugh out of me and my helpers grading papers.
You can only grade for so long before you have to take a jumping break :) Doesn't Jack look amused? hahaha
The weekend was low key and quiet and we're gearing up for a great four day week at school and FOUR DAY WEEKEND (hallelujah!) for Easter. Luke is having his birthday party this week and we can't wait to start the birthday month off right! Don't forget that tomorrow is Show and Tell Tuesday and we're going to be talking about what a "mixed tape of our lives" would look like :) Kind of a soundtrack of the movie of our lives. hahaha Can't wait to hear what everyone's would be!
Last, many of you are familiar with my friend Manda and the cancer journey that she and her family have been on for years. If you're not, you can read my first post HERE, the update she wrote for me HERE and you can watch her testimony HERE. Manda has been part of a brand new trial for the past several months and she is having scans today to see how the trial is working. If you could keep Manda and her family in your prayers today as she has her scans and tomorrow as she receives her results, it would be beyond amazing. Pray for good results, peace of mind and unwavering faith in God's promises and goodness amidst the circumstances and unknown.
If you have a minute, leave a comment below and let Manda know that you're praying for her. I'm going to screenshot them periodically throughout the day and let her know that people are lifting her and her family up and covering her in prayer.
Thanks, friends!
