Happy Friday, friends! I am especially thankful today is Friday because mama is TIRED! This week has been super fun, but good Lord, it's been exhausting. Getting back into the swing of things after a week of relaxation and then throwing the time change on top of that has been hard! We're all ready for a weekend to recoup. Plus - next week is a four-day-week for us, so we're excited!!!
The weather earlier this week was so pretty and Griffin had a chance to wear a few new Spring dresses. This one KILLS me with the little bow in the back!
Wednesday night we headed out on a whim and set up shop on the island tee box to stick our toes in the water and skip some rocks.
Griffin's current FAVORITE toy was along for the ride...
... and the boys kept taking my phone, snapping pictures of him in his "natural habitat" and then would DIE laughing :)
It got chilly on the ride back to the clubhouse, so GG cozied up in my EvysTree ;)
Mason's perfectly timed photo bomb is my FAVORITE ;)
Griffin's St.Patrick's Day outfit yesterday was my FAVORITE. Simple and sweet ;)
And seeing how several of y'all used the printables I created to do something special for your friends and family gave me the biggest grin!
I broke out one of my FAVORITE pairs of boots this week...
... and apparently they're Griffin's FAVORITE too ;)
And look who got a haircut!!!
Seeing his sweet little eyes is my FAVORITE.
"Thanks for the haircut, mom!!!"
Luke gave me several pages of numbers after school the other day. It included everything he wanted from this month's book order. Apparently it was a good one because he "only wanted" $2593 worth of books. hahaha (there were 2 more pages both front and back). We've narrowed it down, but I can't blame the boy for shooting for the moon. "I mean, mom... they're books! BOOKS!!!"
I snapped this picture last weekend and didn't think much of it, but after a second look it's a new FAVORITE. Look at Griffin's little hand on Mason's shoulder!
And then they proceeded to wheel her around the kitchen repeatedly. #princessproblems
Griffins FAVORITE activity this week? Watching the Spring Break video I put together ;) She's watched it at least a dozen times and asks for "her movie". She squeals and points at everyone and has the best time watching it.
I had dinner with some of my FAVORITE girls this week and was pumped to pull this poncho out of the closet again for Spring. I've been feeling super "boho" lately and this fit the bill.
This dress and this top and pants are so up my alley right now!
And I just ordered these earrings that would be perfection with all of the above :)
Griffin has been LOVING her little tricycle this week. We've been working on saying bye to the pacis, but her FAVORITE time of the day is when we get home in the afternoons and she runs to her room to have some paci time and ride her bike. hahaha ;)
Attempting to escape with her paci. Nice try, sister!
I can't wait to check out all of your favorites this week as well! Don't forget to grab the graphic from the top of the post and link up with me, Erika and/or Narci!
Hoping you all have lots of sunshine and rest this weekend!

ReplyDeleteYES!!! Lots of four days weeks ahead! #thankyoujesus
DeleteThe lion in his natural habitat made me laugh out loud!!
ReplyDeleteIt was a very "Luke" moment :)
DeleteLove the paci and bike time in the room. That's hysterical. And that's a great pic of all 3 of the kiddos holding hands and looking at the sunset!
ReplyDeleteSometimes she just needs a little hit from her paci before she can proceed about her afternoon :)
DeleteWow, I actually feel famous after seeing my Instagram pic on your blog, thank you so much. Hope you all have a fab weekend :)
ReplyDeletehahaha ;) Thank you so much for sharing the pic!!!
DeleteI mean...Griffin on her tricycle and in your boots??? Precious!!
ReplyDeleteShe's been a whole lot of presh this week!
DeleteThe lion picture is too funny! Good luck with the pacifier. We went cold turkey with Hallie. She did get a gift from the binky fairy when the pacifiers suddenly disappeared one day. Those first few nights were not pleasant, but we survived. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I hate book fairs. I don't care for spending money on a book that will only be read one time (because Bryson doesn't reread books). I tell him why waist money when we he can check them out for free. I am a sucker though and give him a $20 limit. Not getting mom of the year award over here haha. Happy Friday and hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI did cold turkey with both my boys and it was brutal. She's probably the most attached out of all of them and so I'm dreading it!!!
DeleteThese pictures were just precious! Out of curiosity, does Griffin have a helmet for outdoor riding? My daughter got the same tricycle for her 2nd birthday, but it seems to tip over easily. I can't tell you how many 2-5 year olds took a spill while test driving it for her birthday haha. We haven't found a helmet that fits our girl though. Any help would be appreciated!
ReplyDelete-K
She rarely wears one... but she also hasn't ever tipped. When she does wear one, she wears one of the boys, which I think we got at WalMart. Hope that helps!
DeleteBeautiful family.

You can never have too many boots! :)
ReplyDeleteI think your style is definitely sweet boho. It just works for you!
ReplyDeleteDid you see Sheaffer's post today? She had some wedges with a bow tied in the back. I immediately thought of you. They are so you.
Thank you!!! ;)
DeleteI did see her post! I actually have UGGS in almost that exact same style in green and b/w stripes! Great minds think alike!
Book fairs were definitely my weakness as a kid & I'm certain I gave my mom some similar pieces of paper when I was little. Usually I got shut down & we went to the library. Still cool, but BOOKS.
ReplyDeleteAnd love that powder blue-ish nail polish in that photo!
It's hard for me to say no to books and he totally knows that :) And thank you! It's "bikini so teeny" by Essie and it's the only teeny bikini I plan on wearing. hahaha
DeleteSuch a sweet family! I love the pic of the 3 of them with the sunset - that's canvas worthy!
ReplyDeleteThat picture of Luke, Mason, and Griffin with the sunset is adorable!
ReplyDeleteTricycle riding and paci time. That is just too precious! :)
ReplyDeleteMy daughter sucked her paci until 3 when the dentist said she needed to loose it. She was my first so of course I thought I was a terrible parent for her still having it. After more kids, I say don't sweat the small stuff, ha! But after she was 2 I was like you and only let her have it if she was resting or sleeping but sometimes she would go take a "hit" from it. But they way she gave it up was one day I was trying to potty train her and she was so hard headed. I was crying on the bathroom floor because my 3 year old was sucking a paci and still in diapers. So I told her she either had to poopy in the potty or had to throw her paci in the trash (I was secretly wishing she would choose poopy because I was TIRED of diapers) but she hopped up and threw that thing in the trash and never asked for it again! Never cried for it or mentioned it again! Little booger! It took her 6 more months to go potty :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the instagram shout out for our Lucky You inspired meal!! My family loved your printables and we had a great time coming up with reasons we were lucky to have each other. I adore your blog, your sweet family and appreciate you sharing your talents with us!!
ReplyDeleteOnce GG is weened off her paci can you do a post on how the experience in taking the paci was for you and for her because it would sure help!!
