Friday Favorites! Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner Edition ;)

Happy Friday, Friends!!!  This week has been kind of a blur and I am going in to full on party planning mode this weekend.  If you need me I'll be at Hobby Lobby ;)

Actually, this weekend is super exciting because Luke is being baptized!!!
I'll give more details next week, but we are beyond proud of him and can't wait for Sunday!

So how fun was yesterday???  I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who is equally afraid of E.T. and hurting the feelings of stuffed animals.

First up on my list of FAVORITES is one of my very FAVORITE pics from the week.  Love that little reflected smirk :)

Next up is some serious SASS that G has been giving Dave when he snaps a pic to text to me in the mornings. I pretty much always get to hang with Mason in the mornings, but on several days of the week G is still asleep when I leave so he always sends me a pic :)

And then there was this day where she most definitely was NOT asleep when I left.  In fact, she stood right there and watched me get ready. hahaha

G's Easter dress and headband arrived and I'm IN LOVE!!!  For sure a new FAVORITE!  I can't wait for her to wear it next week and then throughout the summer.  It's a total "princess moment".

Our FAVORITE little pup had a vet appointment this week to get his booster shots and he's scheduled for surgery mid-April.  He's going to be "fixed" and have a whole bunch of teeth extracted.

We're keeping our fingers crossed that in the next two weeks he loses his full set (minus one) of puppy teeth that he still has in addition to having his full set of adult teeth.  I had no clue that this could even happen to dogs and we want to take care of it now so that his little jaw can grow and he can get his tongue in his mouth :) hahaha

After his appointment we went to pick up Luke from school and getting to show Jack Bauer to his friends at ESS is one of Luke's FAVORITE things.

After school snack time and a DEATH STARE from his sister.  That look is my FAVORITE!

A few weeks ago I finished One Tree Hill and several people recommended Gossip Girl.  I started it this week and it's RIDICULOUS!  Why are they all being served alcohol at restaurants when they're in HIGH SCHOOL?!?!?!  Are they ever in school???  I'm so confused.  And intrigued.  And totally into the show :)

On Monday night, Narci hosted a "FAVORITE beauty product" exchange as part of our girls night and I left with a new base and top coat.  Y'all.... I'm SUPER impressed so far!  I did a coat of the base coat, two coats of Essie Mod Square and then a coat of the top coat.  It looks like a gel and has lasted really well so far.  I'm going on day four without a single chip!

Next up is one of my FAVORITE Amazon purchases EVER!  I air dry most of my kids clothes... which means I need a big drying rack.  I found THIS ONE on Amazon for under $30 (it was $108!) and it's AMAZING!  It folds up and fits behind my laundry room door and hangs A TON!!!

This girl's current FAVORITE snack?  Ritz crackers.  And yes... she's perfected the puppy dog eyes.

Planning parties is one of my FAVORITE things and this year I'm attempting to scale back and get LOTS of input from Luke and Mason on exactly what they want.  I can't wait to celebrate with him and his little friends :)

Yesterday a package from Crystal Faye arrived in the mail (EEEEK!!! Thank you so so so much, Crystal!!!) and inside is Griffin's new FAVORITE thing.  A big 'ol tote bag just like mommy's :)

 STOP IT!!!

The little piggies peeking out kill me :)

One of my boy's FAVORITE things to do?  Check out the fountain at Daddy's work.

And this girl's FAVORITE part of the library???  The "pooters" as Mason calls them :)

Yesterday I wore a new FAVORITE wardrobe staple.  This cute cream cardi I picked up at Anthropologie for $20!!!

Last up, a FAVORITE activity in our house.... rocking the babies!  It's the sweetest :)

Have a fabulous weekend, friends!!!

Also, I must get that drying rack. I air dry most of our clothes, too (everyone thinks I'm crazy), and that would be a great option!

  22. That first picture is ADORABLE! I always find I get the cutest pictures in the bath too :) Quick question...I'm at work so I didn't have a chance to click the links yet but that base and top coat...you said they're like gel? It doesn't need that special drier thing to work does it? You just paint and let air dry?

  23. Congrats to Luke! Your family is adorable :)

  26. I, too, am a sympathetic blusher. And then I realize I'm getting red and get embarrassed about THAT. And THEN I start to cry. Ugh. It's terrible. I don't even have to be embarrassed for real for it to happen. Also, I read when I blow dry my hair. My kindle changed my life. No more book closing on my lap!
