Friday Favorites - Super Cute PJs Edition

Happy Friday!!!!  I'm not sure what life at your house has been like this week, but I feel like this was a really boring (read AWESOME) week.  We didn't have tons going on after school or in the evenings which left lots of time for playing in the backyard and playing UNO.  Bliss!!!

Don't forget, if you link up with us, grab our graphic below and then link up with either me, Erika or Narci (or all of us!).  PLEASE link to a Friday Favorites post... not just a random post from the week :)
Momfessionals

First up, my FAVORITE pjs :)  I posted this pic on IG earlier this week...

... and LOTS of people wanted to know where they could find them.  The brand is BedHead and I got them from Nordstrom Rack.  They're cute AND the comfiest pair of PJs I own.  LOVE THEM!!!

You can find them HERE and I will admit that they're super pricey, BUT, I keep pjs for ever and a half and I had credit that I used.  Score!!!

If you're looking for a less expensive option, TARGET has some adorable Nick and Nora flannel sets and Munki Munki pjs just in time for Christmas!  Sidenote - the TARGET site is awful and I can't save any pics from it... sorry!!!

This week I had to run to SAMS to pick up a couple of things and ended up with close to 6 lbs of ground beef.  My intention was to split it up into smaller size bags BUT I ended up making 6 lbs of meatloaf instead. hahaha.  It's my kids FAVORITE and so I thought I'd share!

I took the big giant package of beef and threw in about 2 cups of Italian bread crumbs (actually, Mason did it - he looooooooves to help me in the kitchen!) and then about 2 cups of milk.

Next, we beat 6 eggs and poured those in...

And then added in about 2 cups (I ended up adding more) of rolled oats...

I squirted a few shots of Worcestershire on top and then proceeded to mix it all up by hand and then I scooped about 1/3 cups of the mixture and plopped it into muffin tins.  It actually made about 36 of these.  I like to cook them in muffin tins because it only takes about 35 mins at 350 degrees...

and I can freeze a bunch!  I realize that they look totally unappetizing, but they really are delish.

On Monday night I ended up freezing about 30 of them (along with 4 dishes of Chicken Spaghetti I prepped for the freezer as well).  I will pull these out in the morning, put them in the fridge and then microwave the little mini meatloaves for dinner with some sides and my kiddos flip!

It was a rainy week which means another one of my FAVORITES!!!  GG's curls out in full force!!!

Also, in preparation for Christmas cards next month, I picked up this card tree at Home Goods last weekend - if you live near a HG stop by because this is so cute!  Christmas cards are one of my FAVORITE parts of the season, BUT I hate having to find a way to display them all.  Problem solved.

Speaking of Christmas cards, I've been gearing up for designing TONS of Christmas cards and several of my evenings have involved two of my FAVORITES.... hot tea and guacamole :)

This one is suuuuuuuuuper random, but I follow a photographer from Nashville on FB (I believe because of Matilda Jane - hahaha) and she posted this pic earlier in the week talking about how she was doing a Christmas session in the park and Taylor Swift ran by and agreed to be in some of the pics.  I mean - how FUN is that?!?!?!

Last, but not least, the boots from my "soccer mom" outfit on Wednesday are not only my new FAVORITES, but apparently Luke loves them also :)

I hope your weekend is filled with LOTS of your favorites!  We have family pics scheduled for tomorrow at 7 am and not much else on the books - my FAVORITE kind of weekend :)

Happy Weekend!!!

  7. 7am pictures! You must be an early riser. Question on your meatloaf by adding both the oats and brad crumbs doesn't that make them very hard? My sister made meatloaf once and only used oats and we could not cut it like it was literally a brick.

  20. Girl, you are amazing! I love that you prep and freeze meals like that! You inspire me on a daily basis. Also, that's super neat that Taylor Swift stopped and took photos with that friend you know. She really seems super sweet. G's curls are beautiful. Just like the little girl we are adopting :). I was going to ask you what size of the Hunter's boots you have for Griffin? Our little girl is 15 months. What size would you recommend? Thank you!!
