Happy Fall, Y'all!!! Friday arrived and so did Fall! It was rainy, drizzly and CHILLY (Hallelujah!!!) and the day called for hot tea and a sweater. Duh!
Friday afternoon I didn't have a staff meeting, so I headed home to have a few quiet hours by myself. For reals. Luke wanted to hang with his friends at after school care (something about Minecraft and the playground. hahaha) and the Littles were at Miss Lisas and so I had TWO WHOLE HOURS to myself! It was heaven. I worked on some crafty projects for a super special birthday party and drank way too much hot tea in total silence and it was golden. GOLDEN. I ADORE my children - but a few hours of not being "on" was an unexpected treat. All three kiddos got home at the same time and it was game on :) We played UNO, Play-doh and GG spend a solid 10 minutes looking at herself in the mirror wearing her new cat eye sunnies :)
Noodles for dinner and then sweet girl took off with the oreo bag :) She knows where the good stuff is!
Saturday morning the Littles snuck in some last minute snuggle and rest time before we headed off for a busy morning....JPG)
First stop was Carter's birthday party! It was a Lego party and my kids had so much fun!!!
We had to leave after about only thirty minutes to get to Soccer - and Luke was more than a little upset. Poor baby!!! I think Sheaffer may have shad a tear or two over his sad face! hahaha
Sidenote: It was about 55 degrees Saturday morning and I was PUMPED to put Mason in his new Boden Shaggy.... he promptly informed me that "he was not in love with this jacket". He's a nut. I told him that he'd grow to love it because mommy cut the tags off :)
We got to Luke's soccer game and it was COLD! Which was crazy considering that last Saturday I thought we were all going to die from heat exhaustion. Seriously.
We finally got the soccer uniform shorts from the school and they are SHORT! Like.... Luke has them on in the picture below short. hahaha HE was the only one to have them on since we got them Friday night and I passed them out to other parents at the game - and he pulled his socks up over his knees to keep his legs warm. Awesome.
And GG, like her mama, soaked up the Fall weather :)
The game didn't end in our favor - but our kiddos were high fiving, fist bumping and laughing with each other - so that's a win in our book :)
Apparently these two cheered their little hearts out :)
We're in full-on Fall mode :)
The boys played outside for about 3.5 hours and were NASTY when they came in. Bubble bath time!
I die.
Sunday morning I sported some new Fall Matilda Jane (top and pants). SOOOO comfy and cute!!! If you've been thinking about joining the MJ train now is the time! If you place an order for $150 this week you get a FREE TOTE BAG! I'll post a pic on my IG today when I get it! Email me if you're interested in ordering! dave-and-andrea@hotmail.com.JPG)
Speaking of Fall MJ - this dress is my new favorite piece EVER!!! It is GORGEOUS!!!.JPG)
Sunday night I hosted our BFG girls social at my house. Plans included eating and talking. :)
I spent Sunday afternoon cleaning, grading papers and making Dr.Pepper cupcakes (recipe coming soon!)
The only picture I took during our girls night...
... that's my crazy girl, cupcake in hand :) We had the best time (as always) and G ATE UP the attention. hahahaha
We're looking forward to a great week at our house! Now that it's cooling off we're getting outside more and are enjoying just hanging out in the backyard. Fall is in the air and we are PUMPED!
I hope you have a FANTASTIC Monday!!! :)
