Want to know what's worse than a Monday? Tuesday after a long weekend :)
I am totally grateful for the extra day... but having to put on real clothes today was no bueno.
No. Bueno.
Friday started off with an 8 a.m. pep rally.... because I am FULL of pep at 8 am on a Friday. #not
Watching a co-worker get pied in the face DID help the situation :)
The Starbucks line was CRAZY long Friday morning and I was sans caffeine - so my AMAZING hubby delivered some to me after the pep rally before taking the kids to Miss Lisa's.
#hesacatch #imtotallyspoiled
Mason brought his Nerf sword with him and wanted to show my "kids". I looooove teaching middle school for lots of reasons.... but one is that the students aren't old enough to take themselves too seriously :) They humor my kids and I am so grateful!
One of my sweet co-workers has a son who is graduating this year and she took this pic of our oldest boys together on the deck. We both had an emotional moment over this one. #timeflies
Griffin sported her Kitty Dress Friday after school. Even with a bow malfunction she was lookin' adorable!
Saturday morning I met my favorite Matilda Jane Trunk Keeper to talk about some EXCITING things we have going on in October and my arm party was looking exceptionally eclectic :)
... and Mason was convinced his new hoodie turned him into a ghost. #dontask
I did exciting things all afternoon like wash sandy shoes and organize our game closet. It's okay to be jealous. :)
Sunday morning we played hooky from church since Mason and G both had yucky runny noses and coughs. No one is allowed to get sick ever again in my house (hahaha) so we played it safe and stayed home and did this instead...
.... also.... apparently Griffin can climb up on our furniture now. And she wants to stand on it and jump. Awesome.
After naps we had an outfit change - because why not - and she was extra happy about it :)
Dave was working and Gibi and Haha came down to say hi and Luke wanted to try on Haha's glasses...
Yesterday morning Mason went to a friends birthday party (where apparently, he was the "life of the party" hahaha and he came home in someone elses pants)...
.... and Luke went to play at Gibi and Haha's house. With no boys around Griffin, her blanket and her baby watched Sofia the First. Bring on the girl shows!!!
... but she didn't last long :)
After lunch mini photo op :)
It was a great weekend and we're so excited that it's officially September!
In case you missed it - be sure to check out my little DIY projects from yesterday and my Matilda Jane post from today and yesterday!
My show is closing this morning - so get your wishlists in before 12:00 p.m. CST! (email them to dave-and-andrea@hotmail.com and katkempson@matildajaneclothing.com).
