Five on Friday

I say this every week... but HOW ON EARTH IS IT FRIDAY AGAIN?!?!?!
I'm linking up with Darci at The Good Life Blog and sharing my random Five on Friday.

- ONE -
The end is near!!!

After today I have two full weeks of teaching and then one week of proctoring exams.  The weather is gorgeous, students have been infected with Spring Fever and I've been giving at least one "finish strong" lecture a day. :)

I've been doing lots of this as well........

....... y'all know what I'm talking about :)

And here's a few more teacher funnies to get me through the last few weeks...

I almost peed my pants when I saw this one.  So tempted to slap it up on my SmartBoard :)

I have been horrible about taking outfit pics this week.  Here I am in my jammies sporting a Hippie Chick tee :)  Super glamorous and exciting, I know.

Yesterday I wore another drapey maxi dress from GAP (I now own all the colors - #addict).  The navy stripe is still in stock and it's an additonal 35% off!!! HURRY!!!  I paired it with my white denim jacket and infinity scarf. (the scarves are still 2/$38 and are so so so soft and a great weight for summer!)

Tuesday I wore this dress from Hippie Chick and paired it with my black cowboy boots and denim jacket. (PS - the jacket comes with FREE overnight shipping!!!)

We've been working on Griffin's sippy cup skills (she still has a ways to go - hahaha), but I found THE BEST cup at Wal-Mart and that's really seems to be helping...

This is her I just sucked in a BUNCH of water face :)

I think I paid around $6 for the cup at WalMart and it's awesome because the end of the straw has a weight on it, so no matter how she holds it the end of the straw is in the liquid.  She can tip it up, hold it straight or whatever and still get the drink!

Our family pictures are tomorrow.  At eight o'clock in the morning.  Pray for us. hahaha
There will most definitely be some bribery.  And probably a few tears.  But somehow Kelly always manages to capture fantastic images and so I'm optimistic :)

This was us last Spring...
... I'm hoping we have fewer tears and that my hair looks WAY better :)  I'm also relieved that I won't have to nurse anybody halfway through the session. hahaha

I LOVE picking out clothes for family pics and cant wait to see my kiddos decked out in these...
... I still have no clue what I'm wearing, but no one usually looks at me anyway :)  Dave will be ROCKING some skinny red pants that are WAY out of his comfort zone... so that alone is worth documenting.  Kelly is awesome about sneak peeks so hopefully I'll have one or two to share next week.

If you've somehow missed seeing links to this post all over Facebook and other social media I can't tell you enough how much you need to take 5 minutes and go read it. It's incredible.  I was heartbroken, moved to my core and challenged to consider my own faith.  Grab some tissues and get ready to ugly cry... but it's totally worth it.  Promise.

Don't forget!  Monday we're sharing what's on our nightstands!  I love getting little glimpses into y'alls lives and can't wait to see what you keep close!  My nightstand may or may not contain a stash of Lego pieces that I've picked up off the floor right before Griffin ingested them and a handful of animal crackers. :)

ALSO - if you missed it, be sure to go back to Wednesdays post and check out all the recipes everyone shared!!!

Happy Weekend, friends!!!
