As a parent and teacher today has left me speechless. I shared this on my Facebook, but thought it was too well said not to share it again. A friend from NC shared this and I couldn't have said it any better:
Better government policies, better education, and good character programs cannot prevent nor remedy a situation such is this. It runs much deeper. As humans, we have a SIN problem. And the only remedy for that, is Christ. Until Christ returns and rules in perfect justice, we continue to grieve over these incidents and pray for the families that are affected by these tragedies.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
