Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year was so much fun - crazy - but fun.  :)
We started off our morning with some Turkey Toast courtesy of Daddy.
I showed him a picture from Pinterest and he came up with this...

It didn't look exactly like the picture, but as you can see Luke was super excited despite our lack of pretzel sticks and blueberries :)

After breakfast, Gibi came over to help get the turkey ready.  This year we had TWO helpers willing and eager to tear up bread for the stuffing...

Luke was the sous chef and was sooooooooo excited about helping:

All of a sudden the chopped onions got to him and we ended up with this...

He kept saying, "Get me out of here!!!" :)

Gibi and I finished the stuffing while Luke got his eyes under control and then he was back to help stuff the bird:

After the turkey was stuffed, it was time to get the green beans ready:

Thanksgiving morning is one of my very favorite times.  I love having Gibi over to cook and having my boys "help" us get the meal ready.  I didn't take a single picture after these, but I can vouch for how good the food looked and tasted that night.  It was a fun day of food and family and being thankful for all my little turkeys.
