Last week Luke attended VBS at Christ Fellowship church here in McKinney (where he attended Mother's Day out this past school year). He went Monday - Thursday from 9 - 11 and had THE BEST time! Here is my big boy about to go into his classroom on the first day (blurry cell phone pic):
When I picked him up he had made a super cute chef hat (the theme was "Shake it Up Cafe" - and had to do with learning God's "recipe" for their lives)...

That day we met some friends at the pool after VBS and I tried to snap a pic of him modeling his hat again when we got home...

Thursday after his session parents were invited for a "celebration".
They got up on stage and performed a few songs from the week (Luke is second from the left in the blue apron)
My normally NEVER shy little guy was a teeny bit nervous up on stage with tons of parents watching:

I have LOTS of really fond memories from attending VBS as a kid and volunteering as a teenager and am so excited that he got to start that tradition this year.
I think he was a little excited, too :)
