Spring Pics 2014

We have family  pics taken every Spring and Fall and I say it every time, but I REALLY think these may be my favorite ones yet :)

I mean - stop. it.  I'm determined to get this same shot every Spring and Fall from now on... because can you EVEN imagine having all of those... and taking one at her wedding like that?!?!?! I die.

This  boy was being a TOTAL toot.  He wouldn't smile for Miss Kelly, but he would give me kisses :)

Dave and I RARELY take pictures together, so I wanted to make sure we got at least one.  Love it!

I'm not sure if I mentioned this on my birthday post... but when I turned thirty it meant that I've been with Dave for HALF my life! How crazy is that!?!?!  <3 a="" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ajABuA05neU/U3Y-nrczaxI/AAAAAAAAmz4/jsDWxRyDRkU/s1600/20140329-_DSC0134.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;">

My big boy!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this one!!!

We took this at th every end of our session as we were leaving the park.  SO glad we snapped it.  I love Griffin's little toes, Luke' dirty shoes and Mason's uneven pants :)

Seriously, how handsome is he?!?!?!

I think this one is my favorite family shot!

Mason's Party Dance!

Mason is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT his own person.

Luke loooooooves his baby sister!!!

Griffin's face! :) hahaha

One of our neighbors was throwing out this old wagon and asked us if we wanted it (probably more than a year ago) and it's been in our sandbox since then.  As we were heading out the door I asked Dave to throw it in the van and I am so glad he did!!!

I. Adore. This. Picture.

The set up was so cute and we tried to add grumpy Mason into the mix....

LOVE this one of Luke!

He was showing Miss Kelly Puff Puff :)

The next two sum up Mason the entire time...

I was so so so frustrated... but what could I do other than just embrace his toddler moodiness (after I bribed, threatened, and acted like a total idiot trying to get him to smile.  And there may have been a spanking involved - parenting isn't for the faint of heart!).

So there you have it! You won't want to see another pic of my family for a while :) hahaha

But I do need feedback... favorite family pic for a canvas??? Favorite pics of the kiddos???  Which ones should I order on canvas??? HELP!!!

Also - be sure to head over to Erika's blog today to enter to win a FABULOUS regimen from Rodan and Fields.

  3. Oh my goodness, these are so beautiful!!
My favorite family shot is where you're sitting and Luke is leaning on Dave's knee (in color). You're going to have to print like all of the Radio Flyer ones too :)
Can't believe you can say you've been with Dave half of your life! I'll be 40 when I say that with Steve :)

  6. Okay. So I'm going to be NO HELP as far as ordering a canvas goes. How in the world would you choose? But I agree that the pic of Dave and G is amazing. Just get that in like 5 feet by 7 feet, hang it over your bed, and call it a day.

  17. Gorgeous pics!! For the canvases, I would do one of each of them individually. The first one on the blog of Griffin. The close up of Mason sticking out his tongue. And, really any of them of Luke, because he looked fab in all if them! Definitely a canvas of all 5 of you, too. So sweet!!! :). Makes me want to do more family pics, instead of just once- a year!!

  21. You spanked your child to encourage him to smile?

    1. The spanking wasn't a "smile or I'll spank you" kind of situation (maybe I should have worded it differently)... but was more of a response to repeated and blatant disobedience ("please stand here with your brother" and he ran off, "please look at Miss Kelly" and he would turn around, etc.). If you've ever parented a STRONG WILLED toddler I"m sure you've been at your wits end before and although it wasn't my proudest parenting moment - it happened. No apologies.

We're not spankers on the regular, but when we feel a situation calls for a swat on the hiney we're prepared to do that.

Hope this answers your "question". :)
