All things Hoco!

I'm back from a day of total hibernation/recovery and am ready to talk all things Homecoming!

A couple of weeks ago Mason asked his friend Claire to go with him with flowers and a weighted stuffed animal - he had some planning help from one of her friends and the whole thing was super sweet. I drove him and then hung out in the car until I got the go ahead for a pic and then ran straigh back to the car to wait. He surprised her during a cheer Bible study at Starbucks and it was precious!

Luke went with a chick-fil-a theme and it couldn't have been cuter!

Thursday night was a big "Hoco Eve" event that I planned - mum/garter exchange, cheer performance, DJ, parade with homecoming court in convertibles, etc. and after MONTHS without rain the skies opened up on the day of and I had to pivot the entire thing. It was still such a fun night and gave the kids a place to exchange their mums/garters...

... and hang out a bit and I pivoted the parade to a much smaller-scale on our elementary school deck where Hoco court still got to walk and we were able to keep our "pup parade" portion ;)

Rosie and Frank walked in it and it was THE CUTEST!!!

Faith worked on Thursday night so we were so excited that she got to come to Powderpuff on Friday morning and do a mum/garter exchange with Luke. It was STILL raining on Friday so Powderpuff got moved into the gym as well...

... and seniors won which is always a bonus.

I spent my morning prepping for our Party in the USA pep rally...

... and these events are somehow the fastest and slowest 40 minutes of all time ;) hahaha Thankfully everything went super well and the biggest hit was bubble soccer - those are my boys repping XC in those bubbles ;) hahahaha

Saturday night was the Homecoming dance and THANKFULLY the weather cleared for just enough time for everyone to grab some pics and MY WORD did they all look so cute!

CAN YOU EVEN?!?!?! We all know Mason is a GOOD TIME and it was only fitting that his date is just as much of a good time as he is ;)

This was an INSANELY large group and the photos were pure chaos. I was sweating SO MUCH! hahahaha

I went to Luke's pics last year for Homecoming and Winter Formal so I went with Mason this time and Dave went with Luke. This is one of those times I REALLY wish I could be two places at the same time!

Luke's group was MUCH more manageable! hahaha

I still can't believe that this is Luke's last Homecoming! What a FUN ride it's been!!!

HAPPY Tuesday and Happy Hoco season, y'all!
