We were up bright and early on Sunday morning to get Luke and G dropped off at church camp and I thought it would be fun to document the day! Someone was super excited ;)
We had to leave by about 6:20 so this was probably around 6:18 ;) hahahaha
GORGEOUS morning for a drop-off
Loaded up and ready to go!
I knew that they'd be off once we pulled in to church so we grabbed a selfie before they got out of the car ;)
camp cuties!
SO MANY KIDS!
G's friend AJ came to camp this year so we grabbed a couple of pics...
.... with all the friends....
... before they loaded the buses and headed off!
Mason opted out of camp this year which ended up working out well and he picked up a couple of pet-sitting jobs for the long weekend.
I got home from dropoff around 7:30 and made a cup of tea and did some dog duties...
... before I tidied up a bit...
... and then getting ready for church.
I'm super picky about my eyeliner and just tried out this one and LOVE IT!
I had every intention of curling my hair for church but opted for a messy bun and a couple of chapters of this book instead.
Dressed and ready and putting away some laundry ;)
(dress linked HERE)
I bribed Frank to go into his crate ;)
and headed back out to church.
9:15 and I met Mason in the Sunday School class we volunteer in every other week.
We read, colored...
... and counted bracelets ;)
Our class ran a little long (we had some super upset cuties in between services so I stayed a bit longer than normal) and rather than go into the service late (and solo since Mason was at youth and Dave was volunteering) I headed to Trader Joe's to grab a couple of things..
... and then when I got home immediately changed into my comfies...
.... watched church online...
... checked in on my little herbs...
... and prepped some pasta salad.
the boys got home and I settled in with some leftover southwest bowl and a new puzzle...
... and then a lady that I had been messaging about a painting on FB marketplace told me I could come grab it so I quickly changed my clothes (this dress - ironically the same fabric as my dress from earlier)...
.... loaded up and headed to Dallas.
PAINTING SECURED!!!
I really didn't want to - but I headed to North Park Mall to return a bunch of stuff to Nordstrom and Zara...
... and did a tiny bit of shopping as well.
Shopping for a 13-year old girl is NO JOKE!! Once G gets home from camp I'll have her try stuff on and will keep y'all posted!
I took the bags up to her room and decided that this was a good time to clean her entire room and go through her closet. SIGH.
This led to literal hours of purging, sorting, cleaning, etc.
After all of that I needed some puzzle time BAD ;) hahahahaa
After puzzling I grabbed some pasta salad and cherries and ate that in bed while watching a movie with Dave and Mason.
Clean face and in bed (relatively) early for me - around 10:30.
It was a GOOD day and I absolutely LOVE having the time to tackle some of these organizational projects in the summer!
HAPPY Tuesday, friends!
