Galentine's Board Party

Griffin hosted a Galentine's party on Monday since we had the day off of school and it couldn't have been more precious!

She did a "bring your own board" theme (I bought this template HERE on Etsy and then edited it on Canva)...

... and the girls DELIVERED!

Griffin did a "hot cheetos and takis" board...

(you can find the serving tray HERE)

Some of the other boards were a "fries before guys" board...

... cookie bar board...

... chicken board...

... everything that starts with the letter P board...

... pink and red board...

... strawberry board...

... and a red and white board.

I ordered a cute cake from Walmart which was, honesty, completely unnecessary given how many sweets the girls brought but it was CUTE!

For decor we had this balloon garland (courtesy of her friend's mom who got it for free the day after Valentine's on her neighborhood FB page and thought we could use it!)

.... and then we tied red ribbons onto all the Dollar Tree balloons I used for our family V-Day dinner and used metal nuts from Home Depot as weights ;)

The girls came in and ate and then G had a little M&M game ready for them to play.  They reached in and grabbed an M&M and then answered a question depending on the color they picked.

G and I also put together this photo backdrop...

(two of these sets and this frame) and it was SO EASY and fun!

The frame was GIANT and so we moved it outside. This was after G got poked by a friend while taking pics ;) hahaha

The girls talked, ate, took pics and were generally just super fun and we also put together a fun little activity for them to do.  I ordered these claw clips and several sets of beads/cabochons and set out a bunch of beadds I had on hand.  I also got enough of these tubes of glue and little tweezers so the girls could decorate/bedazzle the clips.

I had paper plates out for them to gather the beads they wanted and work without getting glue on the table and it worked out perfectly! The glue tubes had precision tips which made things super easy and they all really loved making the clips.

This was such a fun little party to host and could easily be done for lots of themes and/or occasions. The only thing I'd do differently would be to have the girls (or moms) talk ahead of time about who was bringing what to possibly avoid having so many sweet boards - but even that wasn't an issue!

HAPPY Thursday and happy hosting, friends!!
