Weekend Highlights...

Whew! I'm back from a CRAZY week that ended in report cards being due on Sunday night ;) A perfect storm some might say! ha!

Better late than never, here are some weekend highlights! First up - we hosted a diaper drive last week and gave House points for every diaper brought in and YOU GUYS my middle schoolers brought in just under FOURTEEN THOUSAND diapers for Hope Women's Center. My whole post could just be this picture...

... and I'd be fine with it because isn't that incredible?!?!  We'd been keeping them in separate "piles" all week according to each House color but on the last day (after I'd counted everything) I asked a few of my students to build a diaper wall and MY WORD they delivered.  I hope that this is a core memory for them because it's absolutely a core memory for me!

Friday we had a neon/glow pep rally and the girls were looking SO CUTE in their cheer shirts...

 

Took my cheerleader home and we took a cute pic...

... and then one that more realistically represented our moods ;) 

Friday night we had a home football game and I took tickets, Mason took photos, Dave helped with drumline, G spent most of her time running around with the Boese boys and Luke hung out with his friends.  PERFECT night!

Saturday I did all the Saturday things and was up at school getting things ready for the silent disco that night.  Amidst my running around I had a garage full of freshmen painting their class banner...

... which you know I loved. 

Saturday afternoon I dropped Griffin off at a friends house for an afternoon/evening of fun with friends and some getting ready for the silent disco time ;) 

It was a great turnout...

... the disco ball was SPARKLING...

... and it all went off without a hitch thanks to my tech team ;)

And their friends who came to help manage the snack table ;)
