We had a super relaxing Easter weekend and I thought it woudl be fun to share a few of the highlights.
Last year we hosted brunch at our house and decided to head to church on Saturday night to simplify Sunday morning and I really anticipated hating it but we LOVED IT! We opted to do that again this year and it was still the best decision.
Pictures got easier for a hot minute and now everyone just likes to troll me with funny faces ;)
After church we headed downtown for dinner and settled on Spoons...
... which is always a good idea ;)
After dinner G helped me prep a few things for Sunday - love having her in the kitchen with me!
Sunday morning we slept in a bit, opened Easter baskets and had homemade cinnamon rolls!
I'm pretty dang proud of how these turned out. I've always been intimated by making these and decided to give it a go and don't think I'll ever return to store bought!
Long gone are the days of goggles and Natives but I still have tun throwing in some essentials (new shorts, chargers) along with some candy and something fun (pickleball paddles).
My parents were supposed to come have lunch with us but they were both sick (boo!) so it was just the five of us and a TON of food...
Other highlights of the weekend included a stop at the garden center...
... a bunch of yard work...
... puzzle time...
... and some golf ;)
