Toddler/Younger Kids Gift Guide

While I LOVE the ages my kids are now, I definitely miss shopping for all the fun stuff from when they were younger.  Today I'm sharing some of my tried and true favorites along with some new fun finds in the hopes that you can cross a gift or two off of your list.

This air-powered building/STEM toy would be under the tree for my kids if they were younger. I love toys that spark creativity through building and I think this really would have bene up all three of their alleys.

If the child you're buying doesn't have a bitty baby I really can't recommend this enough.  Griffin was a toddler when she got hers and it's one of the toys that I've held onto.  She played with it for YEARS and the quality of American Girl dolls really can't be beat.  I also feel like this is one of those gifts that also give you other gifting opportunities like a stroller, little crib, etc.

G also loved her Wellie Wishers and then her AG dolls.  All of which I've held onto because the quality is so great.

My kids had several of these sets when they were younger and I loved them for road trips, restaurants, etc. because all of the pieces stay in the tin which, obviously, is magnetic so also the play surface.

This dress up kitty one was always a favorite...

I've mentioned a metal shopping cart before but it was hands down one of our most played with toys EVER.  Whether they were using it as a shopping cart or to help move Duplos from one room to the other or drive stuffed animals around my kids used it constantly!

Magnetic tiles are one of my top go-to gift ideas because they're perfect for all ages and the more you have the more things you can make.

Lego Duplos
are timeless and, again, one of those things that the larger your collection grows the more fun they are.  We keep our Duplo collection under the stairs for when my nephews come over and my kids still have the best time with them when they have an excuse to get them out.  They last FOREVER and you can easily clean them in a sink full of soapy water.

If you're buying duplos a base plate or two would be an awesome addition.

We had several set of these gears and they were used often.

I LOVE an imaginative play dress-up item and these dinosaur capes are AWESOME!

These are absolutely darling and are reversible. The unicorn reverses to a sparkly dragon and the dragon reverses to a knight!

I think this reflection kit is super unique and I love what it teaches about symmetry...

We love a paper roll holder to keep in the kitchen.  It's great for big or small projects...

... and it would be PERFECT with a set of these paint sticks

I've mentioned  this lowrider trike countless times and stand by my declaration that it's the best kids trike out there.

We had a play kitchen in our kitchen when our kids were toddlers and then in our playroom for years after that.  This one is so cute and I love the baskets/bins for storage.

It wouldn't be a gift guide without a Jellycat ;) I'm convinced they're the perfect gift for most occasions - they're super soft and the perfect weight.  They also wash well and last forever.

We had this dump truck for years and years and my boys carted legos around in it, used it in the sandbox, filled it with hot wheels, and would sit in and push each other around in it.  I even served "dirt cake" out of it at a birthday party (it was brand new - hahaha).

HAPPY Monday, friends!!!
