This magnetic dartboard rolls up and my boys wold LOVE THIS!!!
Luke has this exact pull-up bar and he uses it daily. I like that it doesn't damage the door frame.
I don't understand this one at all - but Luke bought these grip trainers and has given them to a couple of friends as gifts and they all seem very excited about them.
I mentioned this hoodie on my instagram stories the other day after I showed Luke wearing it in our Christmas card pictures. It's the perfect gift for anyone who loves to wear a hoodie but may need to look a little more put together. It's water resistant, super warm and the quality is awesome. My friend Lori was telling me that her husband has 3 of these and he skis in them!
I grabbed this little printer for Mason - he can print photos, notes, things that he makes on his iPad, etc. onto the sticker paper and then put them in his notes, on his notebooks, etc. This feels right up his alley.
Listen. I don't pretend to understand Pokemon but Mason LOVES Pokemon cards and so I end up buying some sort of Pokemon card box yearly ;)
I grabbed this book earlier this year for Luke and I think it wold make an awesome stocking stuffer.
We've had bucketball for a few years now and it's super fun and easy. My boys both love it.
Another game that they love is PopDarts - it comes in a little travel case and they can bring it with them to a friends house or camp or wherever and you can really play anywhere.
Exploding Kittens has been on pretty much every gift guide that I've done in the past 5 years and it's one of our all-time favorites.
If you have tweens/teens these are the socks they're going to be excited to see in their stockings.
Luke is a HUGE Lego collector and the one thing on his list this year is the new modular building (it hasn't been released yet, but it's supposed to be a townhouse building).
Even if they're not a huge Lego collector I think most teen/tween boys would be pumped to get one of the Technic cars to build and display. This car is regularly $50 and is on sale for $25 (which is crazy for Lego!)
Okay - this is one that I've been asked about hundreds of times. But last Christmas we got Mason an iPad pro (13" screen) with the Procreate app. He can draw, sketch, design, animate, etc. He has the apple pencil and the screen has the paper feel protector on it. I wasn't willing to pay $1500+ for this so I scoured FB Marketplace for MONTHS beforehand and scooped his up from a local graphic designer who was upgrading hers. I think I paid around $300 for the iPad, pencil, etc. He has LOVED this so much and learned a ton through YouTube Procreate tutorials.
How fun is this table tennis set... you can set it up on any table and can get it in a two-player version...
... or four. My boys wold LOVE THIS!
Luke got this air couch last year and has used it A TON at track meets, XC events, etc. IT doesn't require a pump to fill up, 3-4 kids can sit on it and it folds up small enough that he can toss it in his backpack. It's one of his most-used gifts and I 10/10 recommend!
Both my boys have the Birkenstock Boston clogs and they wear them daily. you really can't beat the Birk quality and they always make me think of my Opa who wore Birkenstocks which is just a sweet little perk when they're piled up outside the garage door ;)
Last, but not least - if you have a teen driver these car air fresheners have GREAT reviews!
Happy Wednesday and happy shopping!
Oh my gosh. So, my husband is a doctor and he got really into Jocko during residency. He listened to his podcast and read the book “Extreme Ownership” that you mentioned here, and he loved it. I think it gave him a lot of tools that served him well during his years of long hours and difficult work environments. That said, it was HILARIOUS for me, because the concept trickled into our home life in a funny way. I would do something that was obviously my fault, like burn dinner or break a jar. And I would say “oh, I’m so sorry _____.” Since my husband was in his Extreme Ownership Era, he would come back with these hilarious responses like “No! It’s my fault! I should buy us better pans!” Or “no! It’s my fault! I should make sure the hand soap doesn’t have lotion in it to make your hands slippery!” He was totally serious, but it was so funny and we would laugh about it. I hope Luke loves the book.
ReplyDeleteMy son works in building maintenance and loves Carhartt. I bought him the sweatshirt after I saw your stories. I got it directly from Carhartt because they have a better selections of sizes and colors. Size price and free shipping. I got mine today!
