Brown Paper Packages

I shared this last year - but it was mid-December and it was too late to really jump on the brown paper package train so this year I'm sharing extra early so you can start gathering supplies in case this is up your alley.

The past few years I've mixed and matched several different wrapping papers to coordinate with a super pretty nutcracker giftwrap I found online.  This year I stumbled upon  this floral velvet ribbon and it was love at first sight so I decided to work around it and I'm so glad I did!

I ordered a big roll of this brown paper and made sure it was extra wide to accommodate larger boxes and it's such great quality! It's not the world's thickest kraft paper but it doesn't tear and is super easy to work with.

Rather than gift tags I picked up  this set of letter stamps and  this ink pad and I think it's my favorite part of the packaging.  My kids joke that it looks like a ransom note ;) haahaha

I knew that I didn't want to use the floral ribbon on every package since it wasn't cheap so I grabbed some white chiffon ribbonthis green velvetthis gold velvet, and a pinkish velvet I found at Hobby Lobby.

I grabbed this tinsel from Amazon and, honestly, it kind of steals the show.  It was $17 for 50 yards and I'm obsessed with it with the brown paper and stamped letters.

I had  a package of these bells that I added to several of the packages as well.

I love that they're all coordinated without being the exact same and they were super fun to put together.

HAPPY Thursday and happy wrapping, friends!

  1. I bought the silver tinsel last year when you posted about it. I had some of the other ribbon but had already wrapped everything so I save d it for his year. Love the look. It’s right up my alley!
