Dancing Queen ;)

Well - it happened, y'all.  Griffin Joy got to go to her very first middle school dance as an actual middle schooler ;) Since before this girl could walk she's been with me as I've gotten things set up, danced with her brothers in the empty gym as the DJ does sound tests and has been the first one in the photo booth when the vendor wants to make sure everything is working - so this was kind of a monumental event ;)

A sweet friend invited several girls over to get ready together which REALLY helped this mama out since I was busy getting things set up at the barn...

... and then they took some of the cutest pics!

Meanwhile, Mason was with a CREW of 8th grade boys....

We had our party at a local open-air barn...

... and had this area set up with tables, giant Jenga, corn hole, and snacks...

... and this area turned into a dance floor. 

I had a photobus come...

... which was hands-down the coolest photo booth experience of all time.

G barely left the dance floor all night and declared it "the best night ever".

I know how many of you have been following along since G was a baby and I felt like y'all might feel like this was as big of a deal as I did ;)
